Showed up and used minimal effort to actually see what was wrong hand gave attitude. The so called fix broke the heater completely and now they refuse to come back out and won’t return calls

They were good. He just vacuumed and went away and I thought it was kind of silly for him to charge me $100 to vacuum. I was not very happy with that. He used a good component and he gave me a good price for that.

Hani came over to investigate why our drip pan was filling with water every time our AC unit turned off and the heat turned on. Hani arrived within the specified time, was very clean (used footies), and troubleshot as many issues as possible to determine the cause. He then walked me through the process and explained what he saw and compared that to what I experienced. Through listening to me and asking great questions, he learned that we were opening and closing our vents improperly, which may have been one of several issues causing the problem. I thought his careful investigation of not only the equipment, but also with how we were operating, it solved the issue. Not that many service contractors would take such care. He's obviously experienced. He also educated me on the equipment so I could also understand how to operate it more effectively. Very nice job!

It was 90 degrees outside so we did not watch him work. Our error, lesson learned. After he left, we noticed that he had left wires exposed & taped together with black electrical tape on the top of the heat pump. He also left the door, that protects all of the wiring from the elements, unsecured. Our heat pump stopped working again on 12/28/15. The new technician said the motor had not been replaced & is probably the original. The label was old & rusted. He did not know why wires were left exposed.

I had another service provider come out to work on my furnace. After 3 visits they were able to figure out what the issue was, but didnt know how to fix it. I recalled I had appliance insurance and called my insurance company. They sent Alpha Heating and Air Conditioning out. The technician from Alpha was able to fix the issue in 20 minutes.

We bought a warranty with our new home in case anything went wrong (appliances etc) and it turned out the heating system was awry - half the house v hot, half freezing, no matter what we did with the thermostat. The warranty company sent us Hani Tobia and he was amazing - prompt (called immediately, came same day), knew what he was doing, and was able to diagnose and solve the problem (as much as possible, one room apparently can't be helped)

I had used another contractor from Angie's list to clean and inspect my gas furnace. That contractor found a cracked heat exchanger, which was eligible for replacement under my home warranty. Alpha heating and air conditioning was called by the home warranty company to do the work. They were able to schedule it for the next day, and actually called first to advise that they could arrive an hour early, which I appreciated. The two man crew was very efficient and polite, and completed the work in under an hour.

They came to our house within 90 minutes of when they said they would (no big deal) and completed the work they said they would. The owner came to oversee his new worker. They actually improved the installation as the original installers had missed getting the furnace installed at the correct angle for draining water away from the heat exchanger. They were very courteous and friendly.

They've been great. We had them come out the last 3 years and we might have them back out this year. They check the heater every fall to make sure it works. They are professional, don't over charge and I trust them.

I called another company to do a service on my furnace. They found multiple problems. Because of my home insurance (not homeowner's) I could not use that company. I had to use Alpha Heating. Hani came out immediately and verified the other company's information. He worked with my insurance co. to get a new furnace installed. Took less than one week. Patrick did a quick and excellent job installing the furnace and answered multiple questions. I paid a $75.00 deductible and $750.00 + tax for venting, modifications and disposal of the old furnace.

I spent about $50 for their services as they are not contracted with my warranty. They were not friendly people. They just believed in finishing the job and leaving and did not communicate with anyone. I may use their services in future.

It went pretty well. Hani called back in a couple hours, and came out later that day to evaluate the situaiton. He dealt with the warranty people, checking coverage. He explained the charges--some were not covered by the warranty, such as bringing the installation up to code. Our water heater was quite old. He said he'd call back with a date to come out and replace. Wasn't until the next day he called with that, but they were able to come out on Wed (first called on Mon, so pretty good). The installer called to say he was on his way, but showed an hour later. But...he was alone and worked quickly and efficiently. Explained everything to me, and was all done in time for me to go to work on time.

This is clearly a small company. Hani, the technician, often answers business calls on his cell phone during the project. He replaced the heat exchanger under warranty and did an okay job overall. My issues are as follows: 1) He broke a screw while taking apart the furnace and didn't replace it; 2) He accidentally ripped some insulation. He did not offer to replace it with new insulation, instead using silicone sealant to hold the torn pieces in place; 3) He charged us the annual maintenance fee to clean out the furnace, even though most of the cleaning should have been included as part of replacing the heat exchanger, as the process involves cracking sealant; 4) Although we paid the annual maintenance fee, I had to remind him to give us a new filter. The filter he gave us is the lowest quality available, and is the wrong size for the furnace. He just shoved it in there, bending it; 5) Hani did not ask permission before attaching his company sticker to my furnace.

The owner was responsive and was flexible on schedule. We made several attempts to make a mutually agreed upon appointment on weekends with no luck because he did not work on weekends. Finally, I got a call from him on a Saturday afternoon, and he came over. He did not do a thorough job but only spent 5 minutes in the crawl space before denying my claim, saying that the ducts were improperly installed. He told me there is leak around the boots but refused to repair them at my request. He refused to temporarily repair the leak he found with duct tape until I decide on a permanent solution to insulate or replace the ducts. I called back the insurance company and complained, and they agreed with me and will sent out another company for a second opinion. He never sent me the quote he promised me for replacing or insulating the ducts as he promised.

THE PRIOR OWNER OF MY HOUSE DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT THE FILTERS THAT NEEDED TO BE CLEANED. THE ALPHA REPAIRMAN TOLD ME THAT I COULD EITHER REPLACE THE ENTIRE UNIT OR BUY A NEW REGULATOR. HE WAS VERY GOOD TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN A WAY I COULD UNDERSTAND. HE CHECKED ALL OF THE WARRANTIES AND PRICING OF EACH OPTION FOR ME TOO.
