All Professional Roofing

Mr. Ramos and his crew did a great job replacing our rambler's roof. From the initial estimate to the final stage, he was communicative, punctuate and the result was beautiful. The quote was extremely reasonable as well, and he was there personally for the whole installation to ensure everything gets done right. Our front patio is prone to cracks and he also made arrangements with the delivery company to make sure no risk or damage is done. He also pointed out we need to install additional ventilation to ensure roof life and we trust that he will do a great job on this as well.

Mr Ramos is a pleasure to work with.  I had used his services a couple of years ago to replace the roof on a sunporch, and was very pleased with the work they  and found it an  excellent value for what they did.   When I noticed that some roofing shingles had flown off the peak of our larger craftsman home,  I immediately remembered All Professional Roofing and Mr Ramos and called him to set up a time for him to look at the problem.  I was also thinking our 20 yr roof was getting to the end of its life,  so when he came out I asked him for a rough estimate of what it would cost to replace it.  After he looked at the roof climbing up and seeing it better than i can,  he informed me that the roof still had more life in it and did not need to be replaced at this time.   So he came back to repair the roof in a couple of weeks when it was  convenient for him to be in my neighborhood, which was totally fine as I appreciated his willingness to do a repair.   And I plan to call him a  few years when we do need to replace our whole roof

We got them from Angie's List, and they were excellent. We recommended him to someone else because they were looking at a house, and it turned out the house needed a new roof, and he recommended them not to buy the house. We had several bids, and they gave us all the information and their bid was by far the lowest and we liked the guy the best. It is a small company. He does his own work plus a few other people with him. We set up the date when he would arrive, and the whole process took 3 days, with most of the work being done in 2 days, and the third day was just to clean off the loose ends. There were 2 or 3 people who came out plus the delivery  people who came with a gigantic truck with a crane on it.

Right from the start Ceaser and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with. He is a true man of his word. ie.. he showed up on time, called when he said he would and followed up by email as well. I appreciated the fact that he always took pictures to explain what he was doing and why something needed to be done. This was golden to me as I didn't know very much about roofing and now I feel very confident in this area. Ceaser also gave me excellent advice which I took full advantage of and truly appreciated. He suggested that it would be a great time to add the 2 sky light to my bedroom and I absolutely love them! He also explained to me exactly how he would install them so that I don't have to worry about them leaking or having condensation on the windows. Cesar also helped me with picking my color. I thought I knew exactly what color I wanted but after talking with him I would have made a mistake. I love the color and style. His employees were very kind, respectful and hard workers. They always left my yard neat and clean everyday. My roof looks fantastic!! I could not be happier :) All of his references were excellent. He was punctual professional and conscientious. His pricing is very reasonable. Again, my experience was 5 star and I am truly pleased and thankful!

It went very well. Cesar and team showed up on time, did they work, took photos of the before/after and billed per estimate. Fast, efficient and no BS. I also asked Cesar for an assessment of the roof and he suggested it had roughly five years left and did not try to push for a whole roof job which I think others might.

An air quality inspector told me I needed to hire a roofer to ensure my bathroom fans vent out the roof instead of into the attic. I asked Cesar to give me a quote. He came, on time, the next morning. He spent about 45 minutes looking at the vent pipe and roof vents. He moved the vent pipes around to take advantage of the existing vents in the roof. He completely fixed my problem and insisted that I not pay him at that it would be free of charge. I was thrilled with the service and having my problem fixed so quickly at no charge. I would not hesitate to hire Cesar in the future for any roofing issues.

A small area was discovered in the attic space on the sheathing that had turned black from the entry of water. I looked up on Angie's List for a provider that would do a small job. I sent photos of the area to Cesar and he looked them over. He was able to diagnose the problem from the photos because the leak was adjacent to where one of the roof safety anchors is located. We made arrangements for him to come out to do the work as long as the cost was $300 dollars or less. He showed up on the day scheduled and went right to work. He took pictures before, during and after he completed the work so I could see exactly what he did. The photos were a great service since it meant I did not have to go on the roof to check the work. Cesar was given a check by my renter after completion of the job, and I received a detailed invoice later that night. I was totally impressed with the way he conducted business and that the price of the work came in under the maximum that I told him I would pay. It was a small job that many contractors would not bother with, but Cesar made me feel like it was important to him. The work involved removing of some of the composition shingles, replacing the anchor boot and installing it correctly and then replacing the roofing material.
I would recommend this company for repairs and will continue to use them in the future. I will definitely ask them for a quote when I need a whole roof replacement in the future.

Called on Monday and Cesar answered, asked me to email him a photo of the area of the roof that needed repair and made an appointment to come out the next moring between 9-10. Cesar was on time, had the roofing material (not an exact match but understandable since the roof is now 12 years old ) and made the repair. Cost $100.00. Cesar was very friendly, timely and proffessional.

We needed to have a new roof put on our storage shed and had called several firms. Most didn't even show up to look at the project when they found out it was a small job, Only All Professional Roofing actually responded with a bid. The price was very fair. Understanding that the job was small, we agreed that they would schedule when they had time, but before a specified date. The team arrived at the prearranged time with all materials and tools. They were very professional and did the agreed work in a very short period of time. The workmanship exceeded our expectations. The workers took all the extra materials as well as the old roofing with them as they left, leaving our yard looking just as it did before. I would definitely call these folks again if I need roofing. It was a pleasure to work with them.

We discovered a few composition shingles which were attached but with one end loose, so that they could easily be pried up. I called All Professional and talked to Cesar, who said he would come out and look at our roof on Saturday or Sunday. He called on Sunday and came out. He told us that the roof was OK for at least a few more years and probably much more. We wanted to pay him for coming out and offered a small sum, which he took very reluctantly. Then he proceeded to do some work on the roof, just to and quot;make goodand quot; the money we had given him.

We were very satisfied with this experience. Cesar was able to come
very quickly, and determined that it was a simple fix, and performed the
work right away. The leak is now fixed.

I needed to replace the roof on sunporch on older home in short order, as it was the first of many repairs before being able to get house painted during dry season. . Cesar was able to come by promptly after I called, and worked me into his schedule, coming himself with his brother on the weekend. When the roof came off, he pointed out structural elements that needed to be repaired. and with some pointers from my handyman neighbor was able to do the repair himself. They had to come back another day to finish the work. He was very clear with communication of when he would come, and showed up as he said. He worked with me to make sure I was happy with his work. I am very happy with the end result and quality of the work, found Cesar a pleasure to work with, and great value for work that was done. I would recommend him to my best friend and would use him again.

Very happy with my new roof. Cesar and the other roofers were great; professional and really fast. The work looks fantastic, and they included a lot of minor details that made the finished job look polished and really stand out. They cleaned up the area and left the site in near perfect shape.

We are thoroughly impressed: a great looking new roof for a very reasonable price. Cesar and his crew were very professional - arrived on time, cleaned up at the end of each day, kept my house clean even after installing skylights and solar tubes, and completed the job on schedule. They delivered everything they promised. So impressed that I'm asking them to work on my dad's roof.

I think All Professional Roofing probably is the best. We have a very old wood and complex roof and that's one of the reason that I chose them. They started the project on time. For the who project, they spent 4 days for completing everything. I was impressed with the new roof. I think I can't hold my words to say they did an excellent job!They have a lot of experience. They were able to take care of anything else we had going on with our roof replacement. I got a pretty good warranty as well.

My home was in dire need of a full roof replacement. Mr. Ramos arrived on time for the initial estimate and explained every step of the repair process to me. After receiving three other bids, I opted to use his company and have no regrets. He was always courteous and professional. His crew members were very respectful of my property. They cleaned up EVERY evening before leaving and even avoided injuring any plants close to the home. I am very happy with the finished roof - it truly improved the esthetics of my home. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

We discovered a patch of mold in our garage. During our estimate to fix the mold, we determined that the source of the water was coming from the roof above. I contacted Cesar at All Professional Roofing to get an estimate on fixing the roof where the water was getting. I emailed him at night on Thursday and he offered to come take a look Friday afternoon, which was very responsive.

Cesar came with his associate and took a look. They determined that the problem was that the nearby downspout was leaking and dumping water into the garage. They assured me they knew a gutter and quot;expertand quot; and called him right then to fix the problem, since he was nearby. They told me it would and quot;probably cost $150and quot;.

The gutter and quot;expertand quot; showed up a half hour later, climbed up on my roof, and replaced an elbow. He dumped the old metal brackets on the ground and didn't clean up afterwards. Also, it seems like the bracket he used to secure the elbow was too short, because the bracket itself is no longer flush with the garage wall. The screws go through the bracket, but then there's a few inches of exposed screw. I'm not an expert, but this seems really shoddy to me.

Cesar didn't bring his supplies for billing, so he had to go back to his office to go get them before providing me a receipt. He offered to come back at 5pm to receive payment and provide a receipt. He called at 5 to say he was running 30-45 minutes late. He showed up at 6pm.

We explained our disappointments with the job. He picked up the remaining old brackets. He also insisted that the replaced elbow bracket was secured just fine. This doesn't feel satisfactory to us, and it seems like we're going to have to fix the fix.

Finally, we have no idea if the $150 we paid was fair. There was no itemization on the receipt. Is $150 for a replacement downspout elbow, some downspout brackets, and maybe 15 minutes of actual work fair? If we were satisfied with the result, maybe. We're not, though.

Cesar seems like a nice enough guy, but he seemed to be in a hurry to get the job done and move onto another one. It seemed like he passed the buck onto his and quot;expertand quot; and didn't really take responsibility for his and quot;expert'sand quot; work. He may know roofs, but don't seek his help for downspout issues.

UPDATE - 4/25/12

After I submitted this review, Cesar emailed me and offered me a choice of how to make things right. (Whether this was because of the review, I'll never know.) He offered to either clean my gutters, fix the downspout bracketing, and paint the new downspout elbow; or he offered to refund my money entirely. Either way, he is willing to guarantee that the issues with the downspout draining into the garage are fixed.

He acknowledged in the email that the bracketing didn't look quite right. I don't understand what changed his mind, but the fact that he wasn't straightforward about it in the first place made me really question whether we should trust him to do additional work for us. Given what a lousy job his gutter and quot;expertand quot; did, I didn't have a lot of confidence in his ability to perform additional non-roofing tasks (cleaning gutters, painting).

I asked him to refund our money, and he has done so. I appreciate him seeking customer satisfaction, but I still wouldn't recommend him to others.

Job was performed very professionally. On time and easy to deal with.

It went well, they have competitive price, very good service. They showed up on time and cleaned up the site everyday. I highly recommend them.

Cesar was friendly, easy to work with, on time, reasonably priced. Very good overall.
