I have used Action Small Appliance Repair for years in both Seattle and Bellevue. They were empathetic to my need for fast service. They repaired our microwave ahead of schedule. The service, as usual, was perfect. I will always use Action Small Appliance for any future small appliance repairs I may need and will always recommend them to my friends.

They fixed my kitchenaid for less than replacing it. Very fast service.

A  former "friend" jammed my Kitchen Aid blender with ice cubes he was trying to crush; the mighty motor kept revving, and the two couplings soon ground each other up.  The pitcher assembly had to be replaced, and the base coupling was hyper-screwed to the motor shaft in the base.  Mike cut the frozen coupling apart and removed it piece by piece, and installed the new one. He called a day and a half later to say it was ready for pick-up; he still only charged me the standard rate, and the blender now runs like a top.

How often does a company provide a service out of the kindness of their heart? This is the one!

It’s a small company in Crossroads. The cost of service is an “A.” It took them about three days to repair the toaster. My last name is Hong. I looked them up and it said that their staff could be rude to Asians, which made me laugh so I was all prepared. I’m not Asian and my husband is but they were great and extremely informative. I’ve been back to go and ask more some more questions about other appliances. They knew I wasn’t coming in to buy anything. They were very, very helpful.

We have worked with Action Small Appliance for years and they have fixed a number of our valuable home appliances, from shavers to coffee makers to vacuums. We think their friendly service is off the charts and their charges have always seemed very reasonable. Last week was no exception. We called Mike and Dave because our DeLonghi Rialto was not working. Mike took th time to walk us through some things, even checking with Dave about what the problem might be. He told us how to fix the problem and to bring the unit in if it did not work... and IT DID. Mike did not charge us even though he took a lot of time to help us out. Caffeine again, and the world, for us, is a bit brighter.

These folks can be counted on to do the right thing, for a fair price. Here, Mike was simply a great neighbor. We believe in Mike, Dave and all the folks at Action Small Appliance. The new Bellevue location is easy to get to as well.

We received the repaired unit quickly.  It was carefully packed.
I thought that the filter basket was missing (I later found it in the garage:() and called the company.
The person who I talked with was very pleasant and professional.  She did not think that they had kept it by mistake, but readily offered to send me a replacement - this also arrived within two days.
The next day I found the original part - they had not lost it after all.  Called to offer to mail it back as it was our fault, but they were again wonderful to deal with and told me "no big deal."
I will send all my small appliances here for repair in the future!

Don't listen to those who rate this company low on City Search. I was reluctant to go here because of the low rating. Then I checked Angies List and the ratings were good. My Japanese wife is into "eko" (Japanese for being "environmental friendly") so she wanted to repair. Me, I would just buy a new one. However, as they say, happy wife, happy life (bummer for us dudes than nothing good rhymes with "husband"). So, I cringed and called to "repair" what I consider a disposable device (didn't even think there were any non-asian folk that would repair such a thing). Bottom line: They quoted me $15 bucks to inspect and promised a firm fixed price quote to repair after inspection (of which the $15 would go towards). Sounded fair to me. I dropped off (BTW the girl who works there is a babe) and less than a week later, Mike called me with an estimate. $79 bucks. Like I said, I would buy a new one (only $120 from amazon) but don't want my Japanese wife cutting me off (she too is a babe so kinda like to keep her happy if ya know what I mean), so $79 was a fair deal. Picked it up and Mike had even cleaned it all up to boot (unexpected as I did not ask to clean it). My experience with Mike was OUTSTANDING. He is fair, honest and true. Nostalgic of an appliance repair shop of the days of yore. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. DON'T LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVES as that is NOT what I experienced. Note that after living in Japan (where "customer is GOD") I am never impressed with American service and mostly a harsh critic of it. Not at this place. Action Small Appliance is EXCELLENT!!!!

there are only three 'authorized' Kitchen Aid small appliance repair places in the state of Washington!!! This one was about 45 miles from my home, but it was well worth the trip. The appliance shop seemed busy, and i was pleasantly surprised when i heard that the repair could be done in about 2 weeks. I had a call from the shop that it was ready when estimated. The repair was successful and i purchased another attachment for my machine. i would definitely return for other small appliance service if necessary.

Small, busy store, but very pleasant to each customer. I left my vacuum, which had suddenly stopped working.. I wasn't able to pick up the vacuum for a while, so I don't know how quickly it would have been ready. Anyway, the fix was obvious, something I could have done myself; but Mike was very polite about this! He also checked the rest of the machine. All this for $16 and change!

I am upset that the mixer broke to begin with. opening it up, adjusting the speed, and lubricating the motor seems to have fixed that problem -- but $100 for that work? in addition, rather than getting the go-ahead for the work from me, they spoke to my 16-year-old daughter when I was out, and took her word that they should proceed. during the repair process, the knob at the end of the speed adjustment lever disappeared. Action denied that they had broken it, insisting the mixer had arrived in that condition, and they refused to deal with it. after a brief conversation with my attorney -- AKA the owner of the machine -- Action agreed to "see what they could do." Between the original sleight of hand with selling a refurb as new, the miserable behavior of the refurbished machine, and now the saga of the knob, I would never set foot in the place again.

THE COMPANY WAS EASY TO TALK TO, EASY TO DISCUSS MY SPECIFIC QUESTION WITH. THEY HELPED ME UNDERSTAND WHAT OTHER PIECES I MIGHT OBTAIN FROM THEM FOR MY BREAD MACHINE.
