It works fine and I've got a clean hot water and they replace all the pipes because it's rusty.

Bob was able to replace old unit and make the necessary adjustments for a perfect installation with everything updated to current codes. Courteous, prompt and very knowledgeable.

I usually don't write review unless the job was done above and beyond my expectation with high quality product & service. Bob's service and product was one of a kind. He offered the best Rheem water heater that you can't get at the big hardware stores for a reasonable price. Here is the difference between Rheem Professional Series (AAA Water Heaters) vs. Rheem Performance Series (Big Box Stores). For starters, Retail models use a gas valve from Honeywell- it's a little white box with a red knob, and it's a ***** and a half to work with. The connection between the pilot assembly and the thermopile is unique to this particular gas valve, so you can't even use an off-the-shelf part to fix it. Wholesale models typically use a White-Rodgers or RobertShaw valve. Either way, big time upgrades over the Honeywell. Speaking of which, the retail models use a thermopile as opposed to a proper thermocouple, which is significantly more prone to failing. Probably half our gas water heater call-outs were for these things. Additionally, the retail models use a plastic drain valve, whereas the retail models use a metal valve. Probably the single biggest difference between the two, though, falls on warranty. With Big Hardware models, all the warranty paperwork runs through the retailer, and they have their own requirements for replacement, parts, service, etc. With a wholesale model, warranty is a breeze to handle- just grab the tags, file your invoices if the labor allowance is good, and they'll get you sorted right quick. Don't hesitate to give Bob a call when your water heater is leaking, because this is the best service & product you can get from a very honest knowledgeable plumber!

It went without a hitch

The repairman showed me all failed parts and discussed the relative merits of repair vs replacement. No pressure to choose either option was placed. I decided replacement of .the heat pump was most cost effective. The team that determined what model was needed and the installation team were both highly professional. I am happy with the experience.

Bob was there on time, the work was professionally done and he is very personable. It was like working with an old friend even though I had just met him!

I called for help at 7:30 Monday morning, got a call back in 15 minutes. Texted photos of my existing broken heater to him, got a quote for replacement right back. Great. Bob was here at the time he said he would be, he did a great job in the amount of time he said it would take, and was personable, pleasant and professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending after my shock of seeing my water heater gushing water this Sunday morning. This widowed grandma turned to Angie’s List moments later and found Bob of AAA Water Heaters. Bob returned my call within 10 minutes and arrived an hour later. By 3 pm I was looking at a beautiful new water heater, and soon thereafter enjoying a hot bubble bath. Thank you, Bob, for your fine work, patience with all my questions, and timely action. Great! We had Bob come out to replace our water heater and expansion tank. He arrived a bit early and got right to work. Our water heater was in a tight space and he had to remove some pvc piping from our furnace to get everything in and out. He installed the new water heater fast and ensured it was done correctly (unlike the previous job).

AAA water heater for sure. Guy was professional yet very easy going. Would describe him as a "good dude". Great price as well-especially for an emergency visit on a Sunday. Also, when I asked him a question, he totally "nerded out" and said things like, "now, we are getting to the REALLY cool stuff!" haha I appreciate people who are a little obsessive and nerdy about their jobs. I left him a message and told him to call my husband. He called him back about 10 minutes later and said, "some lady instructed me to call you? :-)" husband laughed as that is the story of his life! Hahhaha We had a big pipe in the way in front of the old tank and a wooden shelf on the other. He helped my husband take apart the shelf and even put it back together before he left with no extra charges. Within about 3 hrs of the initial call, we had a brand new WAY BETTER tank installed. Basically: Price=low. Bob=knows his stuff and easy to work with. Can't go wrong with this one!

I would recommend him to anyone. He was great and his work was excellent.

We were very satisfied with them. They were very good. They came out the same day our water heater was down and it was on a weekend. Our water heater was over 10 years old. They did a great job and were very responsive. The price was a good price.

Bob easily could have charged us a fee and come to the house to solve the problem. Instead he patiently talked me through our pilot light issue over the phone, wished me a good day, and did not charge us a dime. We will absolutely use him for any of our water heater needs in the future.

We have a two-tank water heater system in our house. Morning before Thanksgiving I noticed that one of the heaters was leaking. You can imagine how tough it was to find someone to come out right away! Based on reviews from Angie's List and Yelp, I gave Bob at AAA Water Heaters a call and left a message around 4:30 PM. A few minutes later he called back, asked several questions and offered to come out the next morning (Thanksgiving Day!) to replace them. He gave me an up-front quote on the replacement, and because I decided to replace both tanks, he even gave me a discount. He showed up on time Thanksgiving morning, replaced both tanks with Rheem units in about three hours and cleaned up after himself. It would have been really easy for him to take advantage of the situation and stiff me with an inflated bill, but he came quickly, on time and didn't charge me a penny more than what he normally charges. Highly recommended!!!

I called AAA Water Heaters, after looking at many reviews in Angie's List. Much to my surprise I found AAA Water Heaters on Page 2 of the Water Heater listings. I called AAA Water at 8:am and the owner Bob answered. I told Bob I needed a "short" water heater. I asked Bob how tall the standard water heaters are and I told Bob the Standard water wouldn't fit in the space for the water heater. Bob told me he would find a "short" water heater and would call me once he knows how much it will cost me. Bob called back within 10 minutes and quoted the completed price including Sales Tax. Bob told me that he could be at my house by 12pm. Bob arrived on time and completed the installation within about 2 hours. Bob is a neat and personable person. He completely cleaned up including the driveway where some rusty water leaked out of the old water heater. I highly recommend AAA Water Heaters.

We are extremely pleased with Bob's service. His quote was $100 less than 2 other quotes. He was knowledgeable and gave us unbiased opinion as we were also considering the a waterless system. He was prompt, professional, and efficient. Too bad he mainly does water heaters now. If you need new water heater, you won't find anyone better than Bob's service.
