Olson Construction

I spoke to someone at Olson Construction on June 6, 2012 about a fence estimate that was to take place at 10:00 AM on June 7, 2012 at my home. I took time off work (over an hour was taken to commute to and from) to make sure I was at home at that time and NO ONE came. It was very unprofessional and I am very disappointed. If the appointment could not have been made, a phone call from the company would have been nice. Instead, I wasted more than an hour of my time for nothing. I called the company twice, left two voicemails, and even sent an email stating that I had made an appointment and been stood up. Olson Construction is very unprofessional, I would not use their service.

I found this person on Craigslist. He was there fast! He called just a few minutes after I sent the inquiry from Craigslist and scheduled for the very next morning at 9am! He was on time and came with one other person. I just needed about two-3 foot sections of trim added to the edge of my laminate floor where it meets the carpet. The two sections form a corner. I told him it might be difficult because there was stone under the laminate. I supplied the products. He completed the job and appeared to be professional. He left some weights on the pieces while the glue dried. The next day I removed the weights and one of the pieces just lifted up like nothing was holding it down at all. Things were fine until then. The problem is that I called him repeatedly, and left several professional messages explaining what was wrong on the recording, but he never returned my many calls. I verified the phone number. It was correct. I even sent emails a couple of times, but never got a response. I verified that, too. So now the floor looks good, as long as you don't kick the piece because it will go flying!
