Northwest Termite and Pest Control

Kevin treated a bee hive in the roof of our lake house in Tahuya. He said it will take a couple of days before the hive is dead. I asked him to inspect another bee hive in our house in Gig Harbor. He was able to schedule the same day, treat and remove this bee hive. I liked his work so much I hired him again, the same day.

Great. He was very thorough in inspecting all spaces where ants might have entered the house and explained what he was doing and why.

kevin was great. he helped establish all areas that were potential entrances for rats. explained in detail how to cover entrances to keep them out while setting traps to get rid of the existing rodents. kevin also helped keep costs down by telling me how to do things on my own. i really appreciated that.

Initial inspection and ongoing service have gone well.

Very good response time and fast service. Very knowledgeable on termites and other pests. Knows the regulations and requirements. Initial inspection was performed professionally and the results and options thoroughly explained. Was able to schedule treatment to be performed the following weekend on a Saturday. Arrived on time and performed the treatment quickly and efficiently. Took the time to show me the work and explain additional discoveries while they were performing the treatment. Explained warranty and provided termite treatment certificate.

I called two services, both "A" rated and one didn't even call back but Kevin from NW Termite and Pest answered the call and we set an appointment for an inspection. Twenty minutes before the scheduled appointment he called to let me know he was running ten minutes late, (nice courtesy). He did an unbelievably thorough inspection of the whole house and crawl, not just the infected area. He told us what we had were subterranean termites and we set an appointment for him to come back and do the work. He came back on the scheduled day on time, had to drill the concrete slab to inject the chemical underground then he plugged and resealed the holes 12 in total and after he was done we wouldn't have known he had been there. Very neat, great cleanup, very thorough, very polite. I would "highly" recommend to anyone that I know.

I signed a contract for service and will get service quarterly.  He showed me all that he had found and set bait  boxes up in 3 places around the exterior of my home and traps underneath. 

The cost for him to remove the cardboard and add more plastic was $500 and I chose not to have them do it.

It started in September when he came and then every month or month and a half, he's been coming to make sure that our problem is contained. He's a really good guy, I would totally recommend him to everybody because he's funny, nice, and very down-to-earth. If you got a bug problem, go with that guy. The first time was kind of pricy, it was $200 and every time after that, it's been $70. He's pretty thorough, he goes around the whole building and checks for everything. He thought about my animals before he did anything serious because I have cats, birds, and dogs. I wish they were cheaper. He seems pretty professional. We had ant colonies under our house trying to burrow through our walls so he took care of it and he didn't lie, he pretty much said that it's not going to be an overnight thing and that it might take months. Within like 3 weeks they were gone and he keeps coming back and checking on it.

he arrived on time .... looked toughly at the situation.... move furniture as needed ...asked politely if my Birds could be moved to another part of the house so he could fix one of the big problem area, without hurting the animals.... wasn't irritated by the cat that kept shadowing him ... didn't just spray and leave .....explained very well that he was leaving 2 kinds of bait and what they do ... and checked to make sure the ants were falling for the bait ... and returned the furnature to it's rightful spot..... set up an arrangement to come back next month for a follow up

They are very thorough and professional. I've had other pest control companies that come and spray and don't try to look for any problems.
