They put the posts in the wrong spot even after showing them specifically where to put it. I told them they were in the wrong spot before they strung the fence and they still told me that I would have to pay to have them move it.
They left piles of dirt next to some of the post holes and never cleaned them up. The piles of dirt they did move were put on my Ivy. They could have asked where to put it because I was in the house.
They left dozens of pieces of cut metal around the yard that I had to clean up before my two toddlers found them.
The tires on the rolling fence immediately started falling apart. I called them and they asked me what I wanted them to do about it. I told them that I wanted wheels that weren't going to immediately fall apart. They said that they would come out, but they didn't.
When they made the gate, they missed spraying a bunch of the welds with galvanized spray, so they immediately started rusting. When I pointed it out, they said they would be back by to take care of it, but they never did.
First day, they call and delay the start for one day. "due to Illness" of an employee. Next day they show up 2 hours late, once they did arrive, they laid the posts in 3 hours, with no issues. They return 5 days later after the posts had time to cured and they finished the installed of the fence in 1 day. Fence was completed and looks great.

For the most part, the service was good, but the contractor was a little loose about time and what was estimated to take a week took 10 days, which isn't out of line, but wasn't expected. The price was in line with other quotes and the fence is nice-looking and serves the purpose we had in mind: it keeps our dog in the yard while not being an eyesore to the neighbors. We did have to ask for a couple of things to be changed as the fence was going up, since it was--and we were clear about this--meant to keep the dog in, but several sections left gaps that were more than large enough for our 50-pound dog to escape through or under and had to be re-boarded by the contractor in one case. In several areas, we had to add stone work or other barrier material ourselves at the bottom of the fence to close gaps at the ground level that were large enough to encourage digging under. One of the gates needs some repairs already due to dog's pawing at it--not the contractor's fault, but a slightly different placement of the gate might have been better. Overall, the quality of the work is, I would say "average to good" and the materials are the same. The cost wasn't outrageous and the owner always answered his phone during business hours and gave answers to my questions. He and his crew were polite and responsive and not frightened by the dog, but did tend to arrive a bit late.

We have a few changes we'd like to make in the future due to our own lack of foresight and would have no objection to working with this contractor again.
