We have been installing quality landscaping for over twenty three years in the Vancouver Washington area. We have developed a great reputation for our hardscaping skills and landscaping abilities. Most of our employees are certified wither ICPI or NCMA. ICPI is a national certification for paver installation. NCMA is a national certification for retaining wall construction. We have won many awards through WALP for Residential Landscape Construction.

Woody's Landscaping created a brand new back yard, including retaining wall, irrigation, and sod. We were extremely pleased with the results and appreciated the crew's attention to detail, which included clean-up at the end of each day. We would not hesitate to hire Woody's Custom Landscaping again for any future projects.

To sum it, everything went extremely well from bid to completion. Woody has a great reputation, so I called to discuss the project with him and he promptly came out for a site visit. After reviewing the project, he referred me to Gregg and Ellis Landscape Designers to advise on layout and tree/plant recommendations. Carolyn Gregg put together a very well thought out planting plan, with an interesting variation of plants and trees. Carolyn made 2 visits and delivered a formal rendering of her plan, with choices and plant lists. Total cost for the consulting and plan was $400, and worth every penny. I handed the plan off to Woody and he promptly provided a fair bid and scheduled the work.
The two days they performed the work, turned out to be two of the wettest days on record in the Portland/Vancouver area. They were scheduled to show up at 7:30am, and they were here at exactly that time. Despite the monsoon-like conditions, the crew did a careful job of keeping damage to existing lawn to an absolute minimum as they hauled yards of soil and heavy trees across the property to the work site. Woody and I made some changes on the fly, and he had some good suggestions and was very accommodating. The crew was courteous, professional, very hard working and left a spotless job site upon completion.
Woody's reputation is well deserved, and I would recommend him without hesitation for any landscaping job, large and small. It was a terrific experience at a fair price.

After interviewing several different landscape companies in the Vancouver, WA area, for a large project in our new backyard, we chose to work with Woody's Custom Landscaping. Others were either not up to the job or wanted to press their own design. Woody not only saw our vision but was able to contribute several enhancements. With a compound sloping yard, Woody was able to install three beautiful retaining walls with steps descending to patios on each level. Pathways were constructed of slabs of irregular stone which added artful but rustic beauty. He gave us sound advice on the selection of trees and plants with low maintenance, picked them up from the nursery and planted them. He is a graduate Landscape Designer and his entire crew on this project were craftsmen of the highest order. Special thanks to Darren, John, Luis, Kris, Crecencio, Ryan and Santos.

His estimate was not the least expensive, but he was highly recommended, and gave lots of references, so we were sure we were in good hands.
We were not disappointed. The wall is what we wanted, and increases the level area we use for parking our fifth wheel trailer. The Manor Stone makes a much sturdier wall and is attractive fro the neighbors to look at.
The crew were courteous and professional despite having to work in three days of rain. Their clean up was also exemplary.
I would highly recommend Woody to anybody in need of a landscaper.
