I asked for an estimate based on the work that needed to be done. Kirt, who had done some emergency repair in the past was punctual and very helpful.
We received the bid price and was floored at the cost.  Waterways Plumbing uses national averages rather than time and materials.  I think a T and M plumber might have been cheaper,  but we decided to go with Waterways because they had done very good work in the past,  and that's important.
Waterways called and asked if they could come sooner than scheduled because a previous job had finished earlier. Kirt and his helper were here about 2 hours with the right equipment.  Everything was done according to my requests. Very efficient.

We have been working with the company for about three years. I have worked closely with their technician, Curt. Since they did the install in the lower level, they are very familiar with the plumbing system on the house. We continuously hire them because of this and because they always arrive when they say they will. He also takes precautions to keep my place clean and cleans up well after the work is complete.

They arrived early after calling ahead. Two trucks arrived. They first looked at the water heater but in short order they figured out it was something to do with the shower/tub. After some testing, the main water shutoff in the garage froze and refused to turn on again. That was unexpected and of course costly but not their fault because it could have happened to anyone doing the same. Took a while but they got the main valved replaced and went back to solving the shower issue. Thinking it was the pipes they crawled under the house to cut and replace but at the last minute tried to see if the hot line in the shower was clogged. Turns out it was, they cleared it and finished up. The problem could have been solved for under $100 if the main hadn't frozen but it did and it was not their fault. I would recommend them and give them an A plus.

I would say to definitely get a bid from Waterways to see what everything entails because they do a really good bid. If you do anything extra though be careful because they do not tell you how much extra it actually costs and usually it is an extremely large amount.

Their service is excellent. The workers are very polite and courteous. They were professional in their demeanor. They were able to troubleshoot very easily. I was experiencing problems with one of my sinks for nine years and they were able to figure out the problem and take care of it. I was quite impressed. I would highly recommend them.
