They did great. They provided the long length I was looking for at a decent price. Also, after they dumped the load, we discovered that the wrong length was sent. They delivery man didn’t bat an eye, loaded it all back on the truck and went the whole way back up to Battleground to get the right stuff! Wonderful service

I received a little over a cord of Alder all cut perfectly to fit my wood stove. They are very professional and pleasant. The wood is awesome and well seasoned. The price is fair for the market. There was no delivery fee.

Each delivery has been flawless. For an additional charge, these guys stack my wood and clean-up afterwards. Very GOOD wood, various species, all dry a burn-ready, all cut for my wood stove. Various diameters- from bigger long-burning to smaller, splitable for kindling. Delivery schedule via email in advance, always on time.

According to ad the firewood would be stacked in such a way that we could measure it and know that we where getting a full cord of wood.  However it came dumped in the truck with no possible way to know for certain that it was a full cord of wood.  I discussed my concerns with the driver about how do we know that it is a full cord of wood. He explained that "you stack, you measure it and if its not right then notify us".  He was very rude, curt and unprofessional and just dumped all the wood in the middle of the drive way and left abruptly. I was also told the wood would be dry except for a little ice that was from a cold snap we had.  I have had the wood for three weeks, I still have to set it by the fire before I can use it and that is wood that comes from the garage where I have stacked it so it could dry out.  There have been pieces of wood that I set aside because there was no way for it to burn as it was totally saturated in water.  I contacted the owners son and what I got from him was basically he would deliver the wood if we purchased from him next year that way he could make sure everything was correct. He never offered to come out or to even look at the saturated wood that I had set aside to dry out.  I would also like to add that this wood was for my mother who is almost 70 years old. The wood was dumped in the middle of her driveway.   I read a review that the wood was stacked for another couple who where senior citizens this was never offered to my mother.  She asked about this and the driver just said that for extra money they could stack it and that if it had to be moved a long way then it just keeps going up in price from there the further the more money.  He stated that they never stack wood for free.  At the end of the day my 68 year old mother had a large pile of wood left in her driveway.

We have been buying firewood for our Beaverton house for 30 years and this is the best firewood company in the Portland area. We discovered them about 3 years ago.  Their firewood is fully seasoned and is clean.  Will continue to use them.  They even swept up the driveway after stacking the firewood on the side of the house.  The stacking and delivery charge were reasonable and compared to other firewood providers we have used , these guys are absolutely the best.

I will definitely use The Firewood Guys again.  I went on the Craigslist site last year.  Was not happy with the quality or the amount. I finally realize how large an actual cord of wood is based upon my delivery this morning.  The quality is pristine and the driver was very courteous.  Thank you guys.
