Description of Work: Suburban propane charges high rates and lock you into a contract! We can literally purchase from a gas station at cheaper rates than what suburban propane is giving us. We go through about 300 gal a month in the winter and pay over $3 a gal. We will be canceling our contract and paying a hefty fee to do so. Be sure to buy your own tank and don't sign a contract with anyone. Call around to get quotes before filling your tank!

 + -1 moreSuburban said my fireplace required a repair technician. I paid $114.67 for a fireplace service repairman to light the pilot which Suburban refused to refund or deduct from my refill cost. The fireplace technician said there was absolutely nothing wrong with anything. He said Suburban just needed to hold the button down longer until the gas got in the line. He said holding it longer is very common when the tank has completely emptied. The fireplace repairman said that is it completely reasonable to expect the person who fills my propane to be able to do what he did I have every reason to believe that I should not be required to pay a 3rd party to light the pilot that Suburban agreed to light. If the Suburban Propane workers who deliver propane gas are not competent to perform simple tasks involving their own gas lines, then maybe they should not be trusted working around large quantities of highly flammable material.
Description of Work: Filled propane tank. Advertised that they would light pilot, agreed to light pilot and attempted to light it. Unable to light it. I was required to hire a third party to complete the job. The 3rd party repairman said his presence should not have been necessary.

 + -1 moreI WOULD SURELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY. THEY WERE GREAT AND VERY FRIENDLY. THEY HELPED ME OUT WITH A LOT. THEY DID A TREMENDOUS JOB ON FILLING MY TANKS UP.
