The process took longer than expected and there were lots of bumps that needed to be ironed out along the way. Supply chain and labor shortages paired with more job requests than the market can handle were uncontrollable issues. RC could be more organized, communicate more and better as well as have better internal communication. The work that gets done is fantastic. The workers are polite and professional. They listen to your needs and accommodate the best the can. Issues do get resolved in fair fashion. Shortcuts are not taken. They’ll inform you of true underlying issues and not change order you to death.

We are extremely happy with the bathroom remodel that RC Maintenance did for us. The bathroom came out just the way we wanted. The craftmanship was excellent, but more importantly, the people were even better. We did our remodel in the summer of 2021. While other vendors were taking advantage of the crazy housing market and price gouging, RC offered a reasonable and fair price. When there were minor issues, RC always came through and made things right. It's nice to work with people of such high integrity. Would totally recommend them to anyone.

Stage one of the work went well. Good responsiveness and quality. They cut corners on the paint preparation, especially the flashing and caulking. This damaged the paint when the weather turned bad. It took four months for them to come back out to rework the job and still didn’t fix it. It’s been nine months of back and forth and they have yet to return to finish the work we paid for. There customer service and responsiveness is very bad. They do not stand by their work or their warranty. I would not recommend them.

RC was running a tad late within start of the arrival window but kept open communication about their arrival. This was so refreshing to start. Robert was friendly, fast and very clean. He also came for the weld estimate specifically and very honest about that the welding job would fix and what to expect so we understood the intended outcome. He also gave us great advice on how to save on our electric bill vs the provided bulb that the light fixture came with. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would 100% hire RC for anything again.

I will preface this review with a brief comment that towards the end of the project, they did (at least) attempt to make this disastrous tiling job a bit more "acceptable". Step one was to FIRE their "Foreman" who was responsible for the initial tiling/grouting/supervision. In the end, the tiled shower was still very substandard, as shown by this video: [*** Link removed ***] The contract was estimated to take three weeks. The actual length of the project was 54 days. It was obvious to the owner's wife that they were losing money on labor. The reason for this was because the tile setter installed the shower tiles without allowing any spacing for grout, and as a result, had to remove the improperly set tiles. While doing this, he also destroyed the WEDI board that I had supplied at no cost to RCMP. As I see it, they were fortunate that I didn't insist that they also remove and replace the destroyed WEDI board. Photos are attached. Of course most of these tiles that had to be removed were broken, which also caused them to over run the calculated tile quantities. In an email to me she wrote, "I will take a look at the total labor, materials etc. and see where were at. If we are still in the proper profit range I won’t have to add any funds for labor". Since I wasn't willing to pay any additional labor charges, because of their own substandard workmanship, she hinted that they were going to charge me a "contractor markup" on the tile. She actually wrote, "We’re close on the adjustment but you had missed the 15% contractors markup on materials". Typically, when the customer uses a supplier that the contractor normally uses, the "Contractor's price" is passed on to the customer. This was just another weak attempt to try and make me responsible for their own poor workmanship. I asked her, "What's next... markup on sheetrock, paint and nails"? They piled many large contractors black plastic bags & buckets full of trash, broken tile & misc. waste against our side garage door and it remained there for 23 days. I would not recommend RCMP as a viable solution for home repair. I kept a very detailed daily diary that I may yet submit to the BBB.

My daughter and I were extremely pleased with not only the quality of the work done on the cabinets and tile, but also the communication that RC had with us. Robert and his project manager, John were always checking in with us and with their workers. The painters were always on time and hard working. They made us feel as if we were a part of the team and no question was too small to ask. Before the job started, Robert's wife, Joy, came out to our house to answer any questions, make recommendations, and go over the bid. We would highly recommend RC Maintenance for any home remodeling job.

Work was completed on time as quoted. Everyone including office staff communicated clearly and directly with us on all aspects of the job. Did not feel like anything was rushed, lots of patience with all of my questions. Mess was contained and crew cleaned up daily. They removed all garbage afterwards we did not have to get rid of anything ourselves. Crew that came to work, were respectful both in how they handled themselves and how they worked within our home. We built this house and worked with many constructions crews, these guys were the best. Office team stayed on top of all paperwork, and communications with insurance company, and took care of issues with insurance on our behalf. I find it rare to find a business where both the office staff and onsite staff perform so well and provide such great service, together! Usually you get one or the other, not here. WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN!

Everyone at RC Maintenance & Painting was very friendly, easy to work with and great with communication. There were several issues with things we ordered from Lowe’s and their team went to bat for us with Lowe’s. Jon and Robert were actively involved, coming and checking on the project and handling road blocks without hesitation. Tyler and team did a fantastic job with everything, he’s very detail oriented, very creative and awesome at problem solving! If I wasn’t sure on something like grout color for the backsplash or which hardware to use on the cabinets he had great ideas to help me decide. It was truly a great experience and I would absolutely recommend them to everyone and if we ever need anything done in the future they’ll be our first call!

Great! RC Maintenance was selected by our insurance when we had a water leak. After everything was removed and dried out, they repaired the drywall, painted everything, installed new LVP throughout the main floor, and put back all the trim. They showed up when they said they would and were always available for questions. We hired them again 6 months later to update our kitchen - painted the cabinets, had countertops installed and put up a new tile backsplash. We couldn't be happier. Again, they were always available to answer our questions and the quality of work was wonderful. I know we will hire them for any and all of our future projects.

1. It was awesome! As a 78 year old widow, it was very difficult for me to get ready for them to work. They moved everything. 2. They were wonderful at keeping me informed and answering many questions, always very professional. 3. They made me feel that my job was as important to them. I was treated as a person not a dumb woman like many treat the elderly today! 4. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

We are so pleased in all areas... Finished product is great, looks incredible. Many small fine touches that were done by crew, matching parts of the house that I would not have even considered (down spouts, conduit, under the door kick boarded are just a few examples.). Great positive and respectful crew. Great communication and advice for product and color schems. Done in a very timely manner, not rushed but not drawn out as well. I was contacted within minutes and had someone here in 4 days to discuss the options for grab bar installation. The grab bar was installed and have had no problems with it. I also had a new deadbolt installed on my front door at the same time. Great quality work.

Great. His response was excellent he was booked out 2 weeks but made time really the following morning which service we have never had before..and what an experience for once.
