The home caulking and house painting work turned out to be excellent. Very professional workmanship. Very pleased with my final re-caulk/painting project.  My original inquiry for an appointment was 8/12. By the time Olympic & I were able to discuss my project the weather had turned for the worse...yup, the rain and cold temps rolled in. The project was in queue and my turn came up in June 2013. Once the project started, all was sequential and timely 6/13.  I would recommend Olympic Siding!!!

Eric, who owns Olympic Siding was a little slow responding to our phone call asking for a bid but after that, he and his crew were always responsive and punctual. Of the three bids we received, Eric's was by far the best. He said it would take two weeks to finish the job but it took three days longer. I would rather that he told us it would take three weeks. Under-promise and over-deliver. We have lots of bay windows and nooks and crannies which caused the job to go into overtime. The installers worked hard and and cleaned up at the end of every day. I would give an "A" for quality except that there were a few small things that went wrong. When I bought it to Eric's attention, he quickly rectified it. I am a woodworking hobbyist and a perfectionist. I see things that most people wouldn't see and that is my reason for giving Olympic a "B" for quality. Be that as it may, I would till used Olympic again. We thought  his painting bid was a little high so we are using a different painter.

We found this company on an internet search.  Eric Wilson responded immediately  and came over and gave us an estimate for the work we were requesting which was siding, windows and the final painting of our split entry home built in the 70"s.  Our T1-11 had multiple problems with peeling and some dry rot.  Eric gave us an estimate by email by the next day.   He was always professional but at the same time friendly with good humor all the way through the project.  After we decided to go with Olympic Siding we made the decisions with Eric for what products we wanted and the time frame for starting.  We had many questions and requested to see samples and asked for references.  We just wanted to see the products we were going to have and Eric provided a long list of references.  We were able to go and see a house that had been finished with the same siding that we were thinking of getting.  As a result we felt very confident that this was what we wanted.Eric always made us feel perfectly ok to ask for anything we needed and was very prompt to answer our requests.A date was set to begin and the dumptster and Honey Bucket arrived exactly when he said it would.   The crew was prompt everyday after that  and worked well.  They were obviously experienced.    Along the way we changed our minds about a couple of things.  We added a shake siding to the north and south peaks of our house.  We also decided to change one of the windows into a french door.  Eric gave us an estimate for the changes which turned out to be exactly what we paid.  Eric and the crew took care of the changes without missing a beat.   The crew was in constant contact with Eric.  There was a very good working relationship between them all.  At one point we were concerned about how the siding looked on one side of the house and before we knew it Eric was there talking with us and his crew about how to resolve the problem, which they did beautifully.   Also the painting was done just right.  And, finally, Eric himself came out the last day to make sure all was done to our satisfaction and  washed our new windows for us! All in all we couldn't be happier.

The Contractors mothers would be proud of them; kind, respectful, friendly etc. Finished the job in a very timely manor. Siding workmanship is fantastic. The paint job is beautiful. The yard was left as it was before they arrived, couldn't tell they were here. Nice job to all!!

They are courteous.
They are punctual.  Start on time. End on time.
The workmanship is impecable.  They even replaced a rotted panel of plywood without extra cost.
Great paint job.
To sum up:  They may charge slightly higher, but the peace of mind they offer is priceless.  I have never been more impressed
by anyone before.  There people are true professionals who take pride in what they do.

Eric and his team were very professional at all times. Eric provided both a best and worst case scenario estimates. Although he was 98% sure he knew what was causing the leaking, until the lap siding was removed, he wouldn't know exactly what was there and damage would be encountered. I liked having the best/worst estimates. Eric explained in detail the process and also included it in the estimates.  Due to the unpredictable weather at the time, he provided extra workers to ensure that all the siding (not paint) was completed in one day. Everyone arrived on time and was very courteous. Eric arrived at the start of the project and inspected periodically during the day. Bob was leading the effort and explained in detail the damage that was encoutered and what needed to be done. Pictures were taken before, during, and after the project including details of the damage. All pictures were provided to us on CD. Due to the significant amount of landscaping that we have close to the house, some was damaged, although they did try to be careful. However, some damage was anticipated as utlimately the workers needed to get to the siding and do their jobs. We had plastic shudders on the front of the house which were white but painted black and the paint was blistering and peeling. Originally, Eric was going to have the painter clean and repaint them before putting them back on the house, but then Eric suggested that we could get some black plastic ones (about $40/50) so that we would not have the blister/peeling issue again, plus this would save the painter having to scrap/clean them (lots of detailed work). GREAT idea. We also had him get replacement shudders for the kitchen window to match as they were starting to blister/peel too.

The painter was scheduled several days later, when the weather was expected to be clear/dry again. The painter was there on time and worked to ensure that the paint color would match the existing. We had the original paint details however the base color that was used, is no longer manufactured so Rueben took a piece of the old siding with him for color match. The painting went smoothly. No issues.

When we had the insurance company inspect the interior/exterior damage of the house, Eric was kind enough to be there to answer any questions and provide the pictures.

Overall, very pleased with Olympic siding.

We will need to have the other two sides of the house addressed in the same manner (remove/replace siding and flash all windows and paint). However, we don't expect any damage as these sides (north / east) are not hit with direct rain like the (south / west) . We will hire Olympic siding to do the work.

They were very professional from start to finish. They were always on-time for all of their appointments. They met all their contractual obligations. They started when they said they would start and finished when they said they would finish. Their crews were very professional and respectful of my property. For example they took extra care not to scratch or mar my porch decking when they resided and painted that area. For the most part they did an excellent job. I was also impressed with how clean they left the worksite at the end of each day. Their painter also did an excellent job.
