 + -1 moreH&B was sub-contracted by Hendrickson Development Inc to do all the electrical work (except our whole-house generator) on our new custom build home. I was extremely disappointed in their quality of work and their attention to the little things. (1) ran speaker wire for surround sound. After the drywall was up I realized that 5 of the 6 cables were the same. The 6th run was a 4-wire twisted pair used for tele/data communications. I asked why. "I ran out of the other wire." (2) Faulty dedicated microwave (MW) circuit discovered after move-in. They came out, blamed the MW. I replaced the MW. Breaker continued tripping. I demanded they replace the breaker and the outlet. Circuit fixed. (3) Ceiling light I chose proved to be incompatible with our dimmer switches. I replaced the lights. Discovered the ground wires will cover with paint from the overspray, but the electrician did not remove the paint to ensure reliable grounding. They are lazy and don't care.
Description of Work: New build whole house electrical. 3 examples provided above. Another issue was their plan to install three breaker panels in 2 locations and accommodate a transfer switch for a generator. They also resisted including the heat pump and furnace with the other items to be served by the 26kW generator. Sirius Electric LLC was my generator contractor. He questioned why 3 breaker panels were planned and was positive the heat pump and furnace could be served by the generator along with most of the house. He redesigned the breaker panel layout and instructed H&B on how to redo the work to meet our needs. I highly recommend Sirius Electric LLC. I have hired them for two other projects since.

 + -1 moreNice guys but would not hire them again. They tried to f**** off some plug strips instead of 2 recessed 4 outlet wall plugs in our master bathroom as our contract called for. In addition they did not do a good job of clean up.
Description of Work: We hired these people to modernize our home's wiring and lighting as well as adding, additional outlets, any where they could they took short cuts and used inferior products. The electrical inspectors sited them on both the rough and finish work and down the road (4 months later) we needed to have some of their work redone at additional cost to us. I sent them to 2 emails requesting they come back and both were ignored.

Description of Work: Installed electricity for water features, and recessed lighting for the house. Installed switches with dimmers for lighting.
