"While we understand that you were frustrated with this project, it is important to give an accurate portrayal of you project. In September of 2018, you hired us for lateral engineering of a RESIDENTIAL shop building. In November of 2018, you revised the layout of your residential shop, requiring extensive revision to the previously completed engineering. The project was still considered a "residential" project. In January of 2019, you revised your shop layout once more, requiring additional revisions to the engineering, but the project was still a residential shop. Then one year later, in January of 2020, you contacted us once more regarding your project. Your intended RESIDENTIAL shop project had changed to a COMMERCIAL building. Commercial structures require different code standards & details than Residential structures. We are an engineering firm that provides RESIDENTIAL engineering services, which was what you had originally requested from us & what you received from our company."
