Dale at Dan Tapani Excavation tried to get me worked into his schedule in the time frame I wanted but when that wasn't working he referred another contractor who shares the same desire to punctually communicate with potential customers, look at the job site, suggest ways to perform the work and get you on the schedule.

They arrived on time and with all equipment needed. They made short work of what needed to be done. We added on the gutter lines to take water away from the barn area and then I requested an hour of the bulldozers time to run a trail through and around the wooded area at the back of our property. The woods were completely overgrown with blackberries and scrub brush - we didn't even know where our back fence was. In one hour they completely cleared a trail and more. Scrub trees were torn up and piled. We were tickled to finally be able to walk back there. And best of all, even with the add ons the price was still under what they estimated at the start of the job.

We were our own general contractors on our new home construction. I think by the time we were done, we had worked with all the brothers in the business. They are all top people that know their jobs. The execavation and septic installation went well and on schedule. Where their customer service shined is when we ended up with drainage issues with Clark County. They took data to support us and helped us work the issue to resolution. They could have walked away because the drainage issue was not a result of their work but they did not. Fair pricing and great people to have on the site.

We had serious drainage problems around our home. Standing water, mold and an unusable yard resulted. We hired Dan Tapani Excavating to assess and then repair the situation. They brought their excavators in and re-graded the slopes surrounding our home. They installed new retaining walls that are visually appealing AND hold a drain system that carries water away from the house. Now our ground is drying out and we have a flat area to enjoy. The Tapani's were excellent to work with. They took into consideration our concerns, worked with our budget and solved the problem! We are very happy with the finished result. The work they performed adds character and value to our property!
