Poorly. I hired John, but since he had a million dollar project with the UofW, he handed off the drawings to his summer intern, w/out telling us. Due to her inexperience, and his total lack of attention to reviewing her work, we had numerous problems with the drawings. For example, the upstairs window was behind the roof, or would have been if we hadn't bought a smaller window. John said this was our fault for not catching it and would not pay to replace the window, would only pay 1/3 of the cost of the new window. John also missed many important details in the framing. There was supposed to be a 2 step drop into one room, which in turn changes the way it's framed and even the foundation. He took 2 feet off of the garage without telling us. This had to do with our lot coverage, but the garage size was important to us and we would rather give that space up somewhere else. He should have called us.
