Very well. The repair guy took less than 10 minutes to assess the problem, find the proper part in their inventory, and replace my dead headlight with a new one.

While visiting the area i had to replace a front low beam head lamp. The owner/ manage of this shop showed me an exotic looking bulb and apologized saying the price ($230 including installation) was typical for large foreign vehicles. Twenty days later the bulb failed. I took the car to an MBZ dealer. They told me the bulb in question and all of the bulbs in the system cost $16.00 each . The bulb was not the large bulb originally shown to me. They referred me to the Wash. Bureau of consumer Affairs. The invoice gives no other description of the bulb. When confronted the owner said there had apparently been a mistake and returned the money.

John doesn't answer his phone much ("I can't fix cars while I am the phone.")so communication is somewhat cumbersome.  But my experience is that the inconvenience is worth it.  Honest and trustworthy.  Excellent mechanics.

The power booster was improperly installed. I brought the truck back because the brake pedal was hanging and then popping loose, but the mechanic would not leave his office to look at the truck in his yard because I did not have an appointment. When I said brakes are a safety issue he told me he could not see anything by just opening the hood. I did make an appointment and brought the truck back again. They removed and repositioned a linkage bolt. A few days later the problem reoccurred. I finally took it to another shop where they found the booster push rod was mis-adjusted.

After bringing car to neighborhood shop, I found out that one of their managers moved to BI Auto Repair. I brought the car in after previous shop could not find short in the system. Shop kept the car for several days and found a short. A week later it was still acting up in a different manner and they kept it over the weekend with a monitor on the electrical system, requiring the manager to come in twice on the weekend to download readings and reset for the next 24 hour period. They found a second short in the inside dome light. Shop went beyond expectations to find the cause of the problem, unlike the previous shop who gave up after 2 days.
I have since brought all three of my cars and trucks here and always leave happy knowing that the job was done correctly and under warranty.
