+ -1 moreAfter spending a lot of time on the phone to make sure that they have the right windshield for my Toyota RAV4 and waiting for a week, they showed up with no windshield and rescheduled me for another appointment two weeks later. And you have you wait at home from 8 am to 5 pm because until the day of the appointment they don't give you a more narrow time of eta. Now I have to go around with a cracked windshield for another two weeks and wait for them another day.

+ -1 moreThe reservation was easy, the tech was polite and the work looked good. However the next day I noticed that a piece of trim was loose, and a small screw cover on the trim was missing (after driving the car a day after the windshield was replaced). I'm selling the car and needed to have the trim fixed quickly. Unfortunately they have to schedule you into their system and could not get to me the same day I called. The warranty won't transfer to the new owner, so he's screwed. Won't use Safelite again; trim shouldn't have been loose and they should have fixed it same day.

Description of Work: Replaced windshield at my house the cost represents my deductible and extra for EOM. So far the things affixed to the windshield (all the gadgets on the rear view mirror and my auto start) work fine. The tech was a bit later than he thought he would be when he called but I was home so it didn't matter. He was there within the 4 hour window and worked quickly.

+ -1 moreCustomer service was fantastic. When I originally called the 1-800 number to get a quote and make an appointment the agent was sure all I need was repair. I knew otherwise, but I went to my appointment as scheduled. Sure enough, it needed to be replaced. They got the part in within hours and had me come back later that day. The manager was so friendly and even found a better rate for me than I was first quoted. I'm pleased with my new windshield and comfortable with the warranty they provide for their work.

My windshield had recently got a large rock ding. To prevent further damage I called Safelite. They had replaced my windshield at my work site several years ago. The Auburn location was more convenient for me and they scheduled me right away. After discussing the payment options they offered me other non-advertised discounts so my total was surprisingly lower than anticipated. It was completed in the time they stated.
