MLC did not pay for my roofing materials - now I have a lein on my home. Run (don't walk) away from this contractor. I paid MLC (I have receipts), but I also have a lein on my home. Multiple attempts to resolve with contractor were met with nothing but stalling. Now I have to go pay a lawyer too. PS) They did a good job on the roof.

They did an excellent job. With the bad economy and the rest of the stuff going on, their company went through some difficulties, but they were very square with me. Even though they had some problems of their own, they did a phenomenal job on my roof and gutters. I am very pleased with them. I live in a 100 year old house. They had to tear off the original roof and 2 composition roofs on top of that from 100 years. They had to replace all the barge boards and all the beadboard under all the long eves. I live in a craftsman style house. There is a tremendous amount of carpentry work to be done replacing physical members. All sorts of design and other problems came up along the way. They worked with me. I have been working on the same house for 25 years. They were working with me. They did a good job cleaning up the horrendous mess that was created by ripping off all the roofs and all the old boards. They were very pleasant to work with and very square to work with. I say this especially because they were only able to give me an approximate price in the beginning. Then after a weekend they said that they would have to go on time and materials. That is usually a very scary thing to do. Beyond that, they were very square and I was very pleased with the results and very pleased with what it finally wound up costing me. I was basically extremely pleased with the entire work they did. The company did go through some difficulties of its own, which I'll keep private, while they were doing my job. There were some delays. However, these delays did not matter in the end because of the quality of the work they did and the price.
