"Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed], We have reviewed the concerns regarding your experience with Guardian Roofing, and we are both surprised and saddened to read over your comments, as they do not reflect the high standards of service and quality we are committed to and known for. After reviewing the timeline of actions at your home and the details provided, we feel it's crucial to clarify certain points to provide a comprehensive understanding of the situation and address them accurately to future and potential clients. Regarding the original contract signed in December of 2020, it's important to note that the contract specifically outlined the scope of work agreed upon, and it did not include annual maintenance. We take great pride in the quality of our work and the satisfaction of our clients, so we performed annual maintenance visits on multiple occasions, free of charge. This was Guardian's way of demonstrating our commitment to customer satisfaction and goodwill. Prior to the completion of any work by Guardian, we have photographic evidence of the significant neglect in the maintenance of your roof, pre-existing damage and excessive debris and moss accumulation that would deem any manufacturer’s warranty null and void. Regarding the warranty period for repair work, we are committed to standing by our work and addressing any issues that may arise within the warranty period. Since your work was 3 years beyond the warranty period, we provided upfront communication that there could be a service fee if the issue was due to no fault of our technician’s workmanship. We attempted to address your concerns as our records reflect, but you chose to cancel so we were unable to address this most recent concern. In conclusion, Guardian has spent the last 3 years going above and beyond our contractual obligations to help you care for your roof and we regret to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations. "Hello [Member Name Removed], While we are disappointed by your review we want to thank you for choosing Guardian Roofing for your project. As our General Manager explained in previous correspondence, the $500 fee was for an emergency tarp service we performed to prevent further damage when new leaks developed during January’s record heavy rains. These newly developed leaks are in no way connected to the repair work we performed and as such you received a new quote. We apologize that you feel you were provided an inadequate assessment and we have offered to reinspect your roof free of charge and discuss the best options moving forward.
