We had a custom cabinet built for a kitchen remodel. It was a beast of a cabinet that was installed in a 120 year old home. The service was great - Alex is professional, responsive and precise. The crew he brought for the install were professional and hard-working. The price was great and the workmanship was outstanding. We would recommend them in a second.

Alex is very knowledgeable and I was initially impressed and thought his pricing was fair. He called me after the initial search and connection was made, even though I did not see his company on the matched contractors. I had him make custom cabinets on each side of my family room fireplace, replacing existing shelving and louver doors. He came out right away and measured and estimated a 2 weeks turn around. He said once my contractor on had removed my shelves in the the family remodel send him pictures so he could see how to frame the cabinets. I sent him the pictures and didn't hear back on confirmation of the pictures. After a few texts and voice mails finally talked to him about getting a second measurement done with the shelves removed and the exposed brick from the fireplace. Alex said that that was not necessary, the photos were sufficient. The contractor and I wanted to be sure the cabinets would arrive before the contractor framed in the new wall and door way. After another week and a half, a few text messages and a couple of phone calls he finally responded and said it would be another week and a half and gave me a 5 day window for the week. The delivery team would call the day before they arrived. So this delayed my contractor waiting for the cabinets with no definitive date on the arrival. Alex's explanation was that he was moving shop locations and was busy with that project. Once the cabinets arrived, he sent two of his new associates, there were several adjustments that needed to be made since the wall was out of plumb. Eight hours of hammering and sawing down the cabinets to fit. The cabinet quality in itself was good, nice finish, soft close drawers. I had the cabinets left unpainted so my painter could match these with the woodwork in the room. In the end, there were several spots where the frames did not match up to the floor and the bottom edge of the fireplace. This left a four inch gap of exposed brick from the fireplace and exposed concrete and edge of the laminate floors as well as several marks along the side of the frames were left with hammer indentations. I sent several text messages, emails and voicemails. Alex's response was to have my contractor fix it, It was not the contractors job to fix Alex's mistakes because he was not willing to take the proper measurements after existing shelves were removed. The result left a four inch gap at the cabinet base on each side of the fireplace, concrete and laminate flooring. I wish I could upload the pictures I took onto to this site to show how the installation of the project was left incomplete and unsightly. Alex has not responded and I am stuck. Very poor communication is my biggest issue and his unwillingness to rectify a very poor installation.

Alex did a fantastic job-----on time and on budget. We were very pleased by how the job was managed and with the end result. I intend to use Alex again for future projects.

Alex and his team created two custom cabinetry/shelving units for our family room and master bedroom. We were immediately impressed by Alex's level of expertise, and his interest in getting the project just right. He has great vision for design and turned a challenging project in our bedroom into a real focal point for the room... he and his team also took great care during the install and cleaned up the areas upon completion... would highly recommend!

Alex did a beautiful job on our custom cabinets and book cases. He had some really great ideas and really knew what he was talking about. We had interviewed a different cabinet maker to get an additional bid for the job and we new right away that Alex would get the job. The price was better and we had confidence he new what he was doing. It was a huge job but he got it installed in one day, truly amazing.

We had a last minute job that needed to be completed before an install of kitchen appliances. Alex squeezed us in his busy schedule. We appreciated his taking our small job and helping us keep our schedule.

Alex Garafolo was amazingly helpful in the design of our extensive homeschool desks and bookshelves in our bonus room. He showed incredible patience with re-working the desk stations and cabinetry. We were not just clients but people he was interested in helping realize their project to it's full potential. And he did. Our finished project is amazing. It is precise, perfect and above and beyond what I expected (and I'm a pretty picky customer). I would recommend Alex to anyone for projects large or small. He showed his workshop to our kids as part of a homeschool field trip and they were able to see their school being built. A nice touch.

Very professional and did a wonderful job. You hardly knew he was in the office when he performed the work and he was very efficient. I will definately keep his card on file for future jobs. Wonderful service!!!
