Auburn MaidPro

I was very unhappy with the 1st time clean. I'm far from being a perfectionist, but if I'm paying for services, I expect it to be completed in accordance with their company standards. Additionally MaidPro state they leave postage paid comment cards after each cleaning, and no card was left. Shown below is a copy of an email I sent to Omar Ahmed. I will update when/if I receive a response from MaidPro.

I'm very unhappy with the services provided today and do not wish to continue with your services. This first cleaning should have represented your best work, and I feel it fell below your 49 point checklist standards. If you needed more time, you could have called me to let me know as stated in your policy (I had my phone with me all day, and you had my correct phone number.):

 I understand you have a 24 hour guarantee, but based on this performance, I feel I would be put into the position of having to call after each clean. 

Please arrange to have the house key returned.

Listed below is your 49 point checklist along with what was completed/not completed.  Two people checked independently and came to the same results as shown below. 

Bathrooms

When I first started the service, they did an acceptable job cleaning the house. I was told the fee was based on 7 hours of cleaning. At the beginning of the service there were comments cards left at each visit so I could rate my service and make comments. They also served to inform me who had been at my home to perform the cleaning. After about 6 months the cards were no longer left and I had no idea who was there from one time to another. As time went on I became more and more unhappy with the quality of the cleaning. There were many routine cleaning task, too numerous to list here, that were supposed to be done at each visit. As time went by these tasks were either not done or done very poorly. Several times, the bottom sheet was left on the mattress and the clean one put right over the top. Most of the time, items that were moved for cleaning were not put back where they belonged, but left randomly in odd places. More times than not there would be residue from cleaning products still on the kitchen counter tops. I would spend an hour getting my house back to normal after they had been there. Occasionally, I would have a time when the cleaning was just superb. I would contact the main office, tell them how happy I was with the service and ask if I could continue to have that housekeeper so I could have some kind of consistently with service. My request was never acknowledged or granted. The last straw was when I came home to find a still damp and sticky dusting product left on all of my solid wood furniture. As well there was some kind of sticky cleaning product on my oak hardwood floors that were to be cleaned using water only. It was next to impossible to contact anyone at the local phone number. Their preferred method of contact was via email. I, on more than one occasion, emailed my concerns about my service and never received a response. As I was not home during the time the cleaning occurred, I cannot state for certain how long they were in my home, but I know that if I had 7 hours to do nothing but clean, it would have been far cleaner than how I found it on the days they were there to clean. I finally conceded that this company was not able or interested in performing the duties to my satisfaction and terminated my business with them.
