Great service and great people.

My wife's 1998 Acura 3.0 CL had a leaking radiator that rendered it not road worthy. We dropped off the car on Sunday night at the night drop so that Auburn Foreign and Domestic could troubleshoot first thing Monday morning (they aren't open on Saturday's). Greg was responsive and very thorough in explaining the status of the car. The radiator was non-repairable which was expected. The replacement of the fluids although unplanned for, were kinda expected as the automobile has almost 130K miles and the fluids have only been replaced once. Greg explained that although the radiator had to be replaced, the fluids were not "life threatening" but really needed to be taken care of fairly soon. We bit the bullet and took care of everything for peace of mind. Although the cost was more than I expected I felt that Greg was looking out for my best interest and therefore I feel comfortable recommending Auburn Foreign and Domestic Car to anyone. I will utilize their service again .

Reviewed all work with me prior to performance truthfully showing and explaining exactly why the work was recommended. Their work resulted in much improved vehicle dyanamics that was immediately noticed by my wife and myself...just as promised. Price was fair for the work performed. I am very satisfied.

I bought my car when it was brand new and have taken very good care of it and know it well. They replaced my sway bar and I no longer have the rattling noise under the front end. They made several recommendations for other services and since I know my car so well, I had them do the services that I felt would benefit my cars performance, but I passed up on a few recommendations that I didn't feel were needed. What I liked best about my experience was how polite and knowledgeable they were and when the came up with the list of recommended services, I really appreciate that it was presented in a way that left me feeling comfortable with the choices I made. I've had experiences where I've felt pressure to have services done that have been presented as safety issues, but seemed more about getting as much out of my wallet as possible. Auburn Foreign & Domestic Car asked me a lot of questions, listened to what I had to say, offered services that would keep my car in the same top shape that I am accustomed to. In the end, I accepted some of the recommendations because I trusted their opinion and they matched up with how I know my car is running and could be improved. I passed on some of the recommendations because I felt they were luxury services that I didn't need at this time.

Once they realized the problems were more detailed than the original estimate, they called and thoroughly explained what needed to be diagnosed and what it would cost. They explained the options and additional costs. Ultimately we bought a good used car and will take it back to Auburn Foreign and Domestic Car for upkeep and repairs.

Telephoned requesting spark plug replacement and air condition recharging. Quoted $208.00 for spark plugs and $179 for a/c recharging. Dropped car off night before. Next day recieved call from Jerry informing me that recharging wasn't necessary but that there was a restriction to the freon flow and that the orifice tube was the problem 90% of the time and recommended replacement costing $248.07. Jerry states; "under no circumstances should we be using the a/c untill this problem is fixed." I authorize the repair. In the afternoon, Jerry calls because they have discovered the restriction is in the a/c compressor. They can replace the compressor for $1000.00, $800 for parts and $200 for labor. I tell Jerry I will shop around for the repair work on the compressor and go in to pay for services rendered and pick up the car. Reviewing the invoice I noticed a charge for diagnostics ($142.85) that hadn't been mentioned in our previous conversations. I suggested to Jerry that I should be getting a break on the diagnostics charge because they charged me $142 and 85 cents to recommend a $248.07 repair that didn't make the problem go away. Jerry declined.

They did the brakes. They were great. They do what they say and they say what they do. They were responsive and I liked the way they handled it. They did a fabulous job. They were very professional and interested in our business and they also sent us a thank you card. We are going to take the other vehicle there now.

Called tuesday afternoon and told them the problem (leaking oil pressure sender) they quoted me the price of $185 . I brought the car in the next morning and they had it ready and washed by noon at the quoted price.

Very impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and customer service. They seem to be proactive in offering cost-effective solutions rather than the typical repair shops approach of fishing for extra revenue through unnecessary repairs. Very service oriented firm, I received a follow-up call and letter in the mail asking about my experience. I will definitely use them again.

I am very pleased with them. I think their prices are fair. I am impressed with the cleanliness of their garage and employees who are all well dressed and present themselves well. I will continue to use their service in the future.

I was impressed with the neatness and cleanliness of the shop. They did all the work they said they were going to do and I was happy with the outcome. However, when I went back to get some custom work done, they were unable to do it. I was disappointed with that. They had a very nice way of billing. I was happy with the work, but very unhappy they couldn't do the custom work I requested the second time I went back so I won't be going there again. I felt like they didn't want my business.

They are great. They do a very good job on putting the emphasis on their service levels to customers. They go overboard to ensure you are happy with your experience. I get reminder calls and mail which is nice. Their shop is the cleanest I've come across and exceptionally organized. The price listed is about what I spend per year. I will continue to see them in the future.

I found this shop while driving by. They are local and I was impressed by how clean their shop was. I keep using them because of their professionalism.

This service came from the list and I actually tried it because of their specialty with BMW's. Their service was prompt and via email so I inquired if they could also work on domestic cars. They were courteous, helpful and delivered as promised. They gave a complete report on what things work well and what items needed attention with estimates of cost.

The service performed on our van was outstanding. We have used this company for many years and trust their service on all of our vehicles. They give accurate estimates, skillfully perform the service and offer excellent customer service. When we have a problem or question about any of our cars, AFC will take the time necessary to handle the situation. Also, they wash and vacuum our cars each time we take them to be serviced.

WE HAVE BEEN TAKING OUR CARS TO THEM FOR YEARS, BUT HAVE RECENTLY NOTICED THEY HAVE UPGRADED THEIR RECORDS AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT. THIS SHOULD IMPROVE THE SERVICE AND MAKE A GOOD SHOP EVEN BETTER.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS OF THIS VISIT. THEY WERE AS USUAL VERY PROMPT, EFFICIENT, AND COURTEOUS. THEY TELL YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR CAR PROBLEMS AND DON'T TRY TO TAKE YOU TO THE CLEANERS!

THE CAR WAS NOT READY WHEN I EXPECTED IT, USUALLY THEY ARE VERY PROMPT AND EFFICIENT. WE FOUND THAT THE CAR KEY HAD GOTTEN MISPLACED THROUGH NO ONE'S FAULT. THE OWNERS CREDITED ME WITH A FREE OIL CHANGE AND ONLY CHARGED FOR THE NOZZLE REPAIR.

VERY DETAILED ORIENTED. DID A GOOD JOB IN DIAGNOSIS OF PROBLEM. CALLED TO TELL US BEFORE GOING AHEAD. THEY CONTACT US TO SEE IF ALL IS GOING WELL WITH THE CAR. THEY ALSO SEND NOTIFICATIONS ON NEEDED MAINTENANCE OR REMINDERS OF MAINTENANCE NEEDS ON CAR.
