I took the mower in on a Saturday. The salesperson told me the shop would call me by Tuesday to let me know what they found. I didn't hear from them, but noticed on Thursday they had called my cell phone. They did not leave a message. Why would they make the call, but not bother to leave any sort of message? What sort of customer service is that? So I had to go about tracking them down.
When I got through they told me the work was done (although they never talked to me to tell me what needed to be done). Their records indicated that they had changed and spark plug, done a cleaning, and tested it to ensure it was operating well.
When I got it home, I found that it runs just as rough as ever and is still mired in grass clippings; no cleaning had been done. As far as I can tell, they did just enough work to get it to start. Yes, they changed a spark plug. There is no evidence they did anything else. And for that, I paid $62. Pretty expensive for a spark plug.
