We asked our real estate broker for recommendations for a home inspector. She provided us with 3 business cards, when I asked who she would use she finally admitted that she liked to work with Paul. She said he was very thorough, professional, and reasonable. We found all of the above to be true. Once we contacted Paul, he scheduled an inspection just a few days hence, he sent us an email with a quote, and detailed at length what all we could expect, what time he would be there, and what time we should meet him for a walk through. We already knew that there was quite a few things that needed attention, but he pointed out several things I hadn't noticed that needed correction. Nothing major that will delay the sale, but good to know. During the walk through, I started to take notes and he told me all of this, along with pictures, was already in my email. To my surprise, it was incredibly detailed (all 30 pages of it) . We found his report helpfully, for the things that need attention and comforting for the things he showed us that were good.
