It seemed at the time that the tune-up went fine. However, 5 few months later the beam holding the garage door rail came loose and fell down. I wrote to the provider and asked him if he could come take a look. He has not responded to my message yet and it .has been a few weeks since I messaged him.

Apparently the company doesn't do a good job the first time, and doesn't rectify any problems that result.

Due to the way my house is constructed, they had to take out the one door (installed in 1979 and no longer up to code) and had to have 2 new doors and openers installed. They were $500 each. The first one they installed they gave me a keypad, the second one they didn't. I felt that I should have gotten a keypad for the second garage door. Other then that, they did a good job.

Both times James was prompt. He answered all my questions and explained why there was a problem with one of the doors.  He came prepared and was efficient.  The repairs were completed in the time he quoted.  In addition, he made sure that all the components of garage system were working properly.  He moved the door openers, changed the batteries in the keypads and reprogrammed the codes.  This is what a service calls should be.

Jon was friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable.

We called him and got his voice mail.  He called us back within a couple hours and scheduled an appointment for the service.  He showed up on time and called when he was on his way.  He was very efficient and did exactly what he said he would do in the exact time frame.

required 3 visits and each time I was charged more. The worker was great, but it would have been better if he knew about the 2nd part we needed on the first visit. Instead, after the first visit and service date, he ordered a new part, then came and installed it, then discovered that it still did not work (only 14 years old) and so he had to order yet another part, causing us to wait nearly a month from beginning to end on getting the garage door to actually open. I was charged each time they came out for a service call, but the third time, the new part was $85.00 again, so all in all, I should have bought a brand new opener as it was just as expensive. My remote-less keypad entry pad does still not work with the door, but I bought two new remotes that work.

Garage door was clearly in need of adjustment and was not fully sealing against the floor. I saw a $50 adjustment special from this company and took a chance. Worker showed up on time, spent a solid hour doing this and that to the door, and now it operates well and seals tightly. I'm satisfied.

My garage door unexpectedly "popped" a spring late in the day. I kind of panicked because I had appointments the following morning and my car was trapped in the garage. Because one of the two springs was broken, there was no way I could lift the door manually. I called Rob at Sound Garage Door Co and he was very willing to work out his schedule so a repairman could come out the next morning. I rearranged my morning appointments, Rob's very polite repairman conducted the repair efficiently, adjusted my electric opener to work better, and showed me how to disengage the door if something malfunctions in the future.  I was all set--got my freedom and made my appointments on time. It was a coupon. I bought the coupon and then had it refunded because it was for roller replacement and when they came in, I didn't have rollers. I had a one piece door. They did a really good job of installing 2 new garage doors.

I had worked with two other companys before calling Sound.  Both of them were "scammy" and one even came out four times to install, each time w/o the proper equipment or parts.  I actually began to wonder if on drugs.  On the fifth attempt to complete the work, they had put me on a priority list due to the trouble I was having with them.  When they were hours late, I called to find out what was wrong this time. By now I was no longer able to contain my frustration.  They told me they would be here in one more hour and then never showed up and I received absolutely no follow up call  They sounded like a local company but actually were one of these 800 number scam companys.!?
Then a friend who is a prefectionist suggested Rob at Sound Garage Door, Inc.  Wow was this ever the ticket.  I sent an email via Angie and the owner Rob called me back immediately.  He drove by my house to look at the doors while I was at work.  Then met me after work and we discussed options and prices.  We quickly developed the plan of what to do.  He gave me a written detailed bid to agree to so we would have complete understanting and agreement of the work and the cost.  He sent a worker out that very Saturday (so no missing work for me) and the installation was done perfectly and exactly as Rob and I had agreed.
This company is clean cut.  The owner and worker were clean cut and respectful of my investment.  Conscienscious.  Attentive to the customer.  Very fair priced.  They seem to be 100% honest and trustworthy.  Good work.  Done to perfection.  Completed the job in under three hours.  Went around to be sure every nut, bolt and staple was picked up.  
I love my new opener system and I only with I would have known about this company sooner.  It would have save me two wasted days off work and a Saturday, plus alot of worry and frustration.

Used a groupon.  Technician arrived as scheduled, showed me what he was doing, showed parts he said needed replacement, which I agreed to and he installed.  Garage doors continue to work well a year later, so I'd guess he did good work!

They came out the same day I called.  Service is great.  It was in and out.  Like I said I called him in the morning so he could be out there in the afternoon and he was and that was great.  I didn’t see him my husband did and they were out here Thursday.  They replaced a cable broke and they replaced the springs and the cable and holding.  We have a 10% off coupon so it is under $300.  I really like the fact that I had the garage door and my car lives in the garage and when it’s out and cold it’s cold to drive in and I appreciate having the fact when I called them they responded and that was terrific.  Absolutely, give them a good rate.  Everything is perfect.  They are extremely professional.

Customer service was great, they answered my request for quote and subsequent emails in a very timely manner. Price was reasonable and service was performed quickly. My only complaint was that one of the panels put in had a little bit of damage and the installer played it off. At first said it was just dirt and then when we wiped it off said that since the damage didn't penetrate the lining it wasn't a big deal.

It was excellent.  What I felt was to call him back out again and they were back out. They did a very good job. I’m really pleased with it. Their response time from getting a hold of them and how soon they got out what stands out about them. I was happy with what I paid. I didn’t feel that I was robbed.
