I found four roofing companies that were willing to apply a torch-down roof and send someone out to estimate the job. Andy Lanting, owner of OK Roofing was the only one that listened to my requests and questions, had good suggestions for my situation and setting, and came with excellent recommendations. In addition, I went with the trust that comes with a man who took over an established business from his father-in-law and has sustained it over a long period of time. Andy's firm is a member of the Better Business Bureau. We signed the second estimate in early August 2007, and he finished it during September, as promised. Andy was the working foreman on the job with two other men. He does good work and takes pride in it. He sub-contracted the gutter job, and I was very satisfied with that also. The estimate was mid-range, but true. I feel that I knew what I was going to get and paid a fair price.
