They showed up both days on time. They were polite and friendly and respectful of our home.
The master bathroom shower was a mess. We have a very high concentration of silica in our water supply. It leaves a coating on all surfaces, particularly glass shower doors. Despite having used a variety of cleaning substances and materials, our glass doors, although clean, looked frosted due to a heavy buildup of silica. Further, the silicone grouting had discolored and deposits in the edges and corners of the shower floor looked gross, although we have scrubbed and brushed it many times.
Jim spent an entire day working on our shower, removing the old grout, restoring the marble surface, and polishing the aluminum glass door frame. At the end of the day everything was clean. He removed the glass doors and took them back to his shop in Arlington and proceeded to polish the daylights out of them using a specialized glass refinishing machine.
The next day he returned and re-caulked the shower. He pulled the polished glass doors out of his truck and they looked brand new. It was astonishing. I was certain we'd be looking for new glass doors. It saved us a significant investment in new shower doors.
Kim was equally effective working on my daughter's shower. She spent most of a day in that enclosure and it too was impressively restored.
Jim & Kim were careful throughout the process to ensure we didn't spend money unnecessarily.
