Description of Work: I have an Elgin open-face pocket watch built in 1887 that didn't run. He overhauled it, replaced the mainspring, and polished it up with a 1 year warranty. Works great now. He has contacts to vintage clock and watch part providers, so chances of finding what you need are good. He works out of Arlington, but has a pick up and drop off location at 130th and Lake City Way. Very convenient.

 + -1 moreTHE FOLKS AT GILLIS ARE ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THEY FIXED THE POCKET WATCH, AS WELL AS GAVE ME A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE WATCH. THE WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.
Description of Work: MY GRANDMOTHER'S ANTIQUE POCKET WATCH WAS NOT RUNNING. NEEDED A TUNE-UP AND CLEANING.
