The hardwood flooring was good. He was good. I had some add ons and I had some additional footage. He did extra square footage and charged me regular price for that. His performance was good and he was friendly. He did the work while we were on vacation so, that was nice.

Called Paul to come and give an estimate and he returned my call later the same day. We made an appointment and he looked at the job and asked us questions about what we had in mind. He wrote up the estimate right then & there, and we told him we would let him know once we compared it with another estimate we had already received. Even though his estimate was slightly higher than the other contractor, we liked him and his years of experience, so we called him back right away and set up a convenient time to get the job done. They were on time, very professional and the floors turned out awesome. We are very happy with the outcome. Artistic is worthy of at least getting an estimate to consider them as the one to work for you.

I was surprised at how quickly you and your assistant managed to complete the entire job of living, dining and hall with sanding, wood putty, plus++ along with three coats of Swedish finish all in a span of less than five hours. Paying for the third coat to guarantee the finish for ten years, as you suggested, rather than 5 years for the two coats seemed the right thing to do. I know the flooring was older but much of it looked brand new when it finally dried. The marks left in the hall way could not be removed as you said. Over all the flooring is beautiful. He did a great job. He is really good. He is straightforward. He is not going to charge us extra just because he thinks he can. He did it in the time he said he was going to do it. The price he said was on the spot.
