 + -1 moreThe down side is that when there are children present, it's loud and hard to swim or get in the hot tub. The exercise room can't be used by young children but those 12 and up are OK. Sometimes, they are loud up there too and often unsupervised. There isn't always a staff person up there to keep them on task. Children sneak into the steam room or open and shut doors. I really wish there was more supervision!
Description of Work: We've belonged to the community center for over 12 months. There is an exercise room upstairs that has good equipment usually working well. There are 2 swimming pools, 1 an Olympics-type lap swim pool, and another with lots of children's equipment plus a "river walk". You can take exercise classes and there's an indoor walking track, and both a steam room and a dry sauna.

That was wonderful! The instructor is normally a teacher, and he really made my six-month-old feel comfortable. Now she can doggie-paddle on her own, enough to hold her up, and she can go under water without hesitation, and properly. The service they have given us has been excellent!
Description of Work: They taught my child swimming lessons. Two weeks daily.

 + -1 moreIt is very nice. It's really a lot of fun, as long as your kids can swim and are 7 or over, you can go to other facilities in the building. Lifeguards are on duty. I can exercise while the kids are having fun in the pool. My kids will beg to go there. They do have family memberships, also.
Description of Work: This $4.00 charge is per day per person. You can get monthly and annual memberships. The annual membership is really a good deal. They have an exercise gym with circuit training and other facilities. They have a running track and large swimming pool. There is a hot tub area.
