He was on time, actually early, he was polite, was in and out in less than 10 minutes.  I suppose it was my fault for not asking the price until he was here, but $197 seems pretty steep to just auger a toilet.  He did waive the $45 service fee though, so that was nice of him.  Overall very good, if pricey, experience.  I would hire them again, but perhaps only if I knew for a fact that it was a job that was more complicate than I could handle myself.

I scheduled an appointment on a regular business day-- no rush, no emergency. The plumber showed up promptly and told me he needed to dig out around the problem area. We dug it out in fifteen minutes. He took a photo and sent it to his boss to confer on the solution. He told me they would need to fabricate a custom concrete structure. I said that I would do that and the plumber said, "fine." Then I got the bill for 30 minutes of time-- $224.00.  I paid and told him it was too high. After he left I called their office and asked to speak to the owner. He was not available so I explained that I felt the charge was way too high and asked him to call me, The plumber, not the owner called me and we discussed my concerns. I suggested that it was the owner who should have called me, since he was the one setting prices. The owner did not call me. The plumber returned to my house and said that the owner would lower the fee to $149. Apparently the owner thinks that charging $300/hr is acceptable once the customer complains about paying $448/hr.
 I ran a large engineering department and I know how much people cost, and I know how much it costs to maintain a shop and support staff.  It isn't $448/hr and it isn't $300/hr for a plumber and a truck. I had a different plumber at my house a few weeks earlier about a different problem, and he charged $120/hr, which I also thought was high, but, that said, clearly a well run plumbing business can make plenty of profit at $120/hr. Charging three times that rate and trying to justify it by saying they have trucks and a shop to pay for is simply outrageous.
Note that the plumber was courteous and was simply trying to mediate my complaint when the owner did not do so himself.

They did a good and timely job.

Arrived on time went right to work on the problems. Personable and informative about what needed to be done and explained what he had done.
Because of the age of the home some parts are just wearing out. The work done today saved major problems in the future.
I have used The Plumbing Guys for major work on my septic system. This work was done with no problem also.
I highly recommend the Plumbing Guys for any plumbing job.

As usual they were very professional, cleaned up and hauled away, explained in detail what what done. We have used them before and they have always been very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

The Guys arrived promptly and attended to repair project immediately. Replaced the p-trap and re-assembled the drain in about 40 minutes. Neat, no fuss or mess.

We recently were in need of plumbing services and asked friends who they had used. Rave reviews came in for The Plumbing Guys. We called to set up services and received an appt. that fit our needs perfectly. Brian arrived as promised and took care of everything without a hitch. We were very grateful and impressed by his efficiency and would certainly recommend this company to anyone.

Not sure of price - billing sent directly to our landlord...however, it was an emergency call on a hot Saturday afternoon in July, when our hot water heater (located in our attic) started leaking and pouring water began coming through the ceiling non-stop.
Found the Plumbing Guys on Angie's list and they were here in record time....found that the old water heater had completely failed and needed to be replaced. With the proper authorization of payment from the landlord, they went to work and we had a new water heater, and everything turned back on and running in no time. Completely courteous, clean, pleasant and professional!! I can't recommend them highly enough!

I called The Plumbing Guys because of the good reviews I had seen on Angie's List. Bill showed up at the appointed time to look over the project and gave me an estimate of the work to be performed. An appointment was setup to do the work. Bill arrived at the appointed time and completed the work within a few hours and to my extreme satisfaction. My pump is extremely happy now that it doesn't have to run all the time as well my complete satisfaction. I will call and quot;The Plumbing Guysand quot; again, without hesitation, should I every need their services again.

There were communication issues as everything was done though our property manager and via telephone and email but we were happy with the end result. We feel they are a "little pricey" but are pleased with the efficiency, responsiveness, professionalism and attention to detail. We would hire them for future needs.

The Plumbing Guys ( and gals) were great. They were very pleasant to work with and fixed all my pipes as quickly as possible with their schedule. The price was fair and the service was great. I definitely recommend The Plumbing Guys.

Great service and very thorough. The only plumbing service in our area that returned calls for weekend emergencies.

When they were done, the drain was more than able to keep up with the full water pressure. They also explained everything they were doing in layman terms. There was an additional outside clean out that I had them run a camera down. It came out clean and there was no additional charge. I would recommend them to anyone. Besides that, they are local and all dollars spent remain in the Skagit valley.

Fine and fast, no problems.
