Great job with our remodel, Nina wonderful to work with and was fast response with all are changes.

Nina was great to deal with, easy to communicate with which was especially important as we lived some distance away. Her design ideas were very helpful and she was able to transform ideas to something tangible.

“We thought we needed just a draftsperson to draw up our Master Bathroom Remodel. We hired one, and the result was disappointing. I found Nina for Interior Design (she is also an architect), and brought her in to see what this draftsperson had come up with. She explained to us the design in 3D by walking us though, and we then realized why the other design did not work for us- cutting off the entry to light. She then re-designed the space to not move the toilet (which saved us a ton of money) and saved us money on moving the sinks to where there was already plumbing. She helped me locate a vanity online that saved us $3500, and solved the entry in a very creative way with light flowing down. The New Master Bath will have a frosted Wall screen that will flood the space with Southern light instead of closing it off in darkness. We highly recommend hiring Nina to work miracles with a budget and creative ideas-worth it to get a professional involved from the start that has a concept of the over-all picture!”

We hired Nina at Island Architecture to do permit and construction drawings for a new construction project. We did not need her in the full design and supervisory/construction admin role of a typical architect (although I believe she would excel in that role), we just needed to get our ideas on paper. Nina was extremely helpful and responsive. We are long distance from our project and she worked with us on Skype so we could make revisions to plans in real time (her 3d software is fantastic). Nina has a mastery of her technology that made everything easier. She also was extremely responsive and collaborative. It was really helpful to have her to bounce ideas off of and to get her opinion on some key decisions. We are very happy with the work and the service and wholeheartedly recommend Nina.

My job was very small, however I did need blue prints drawn up. It ended up making the job much easier & more successful.

Hired for a small complex project. Excellent work, detailed and complete. Nina even knew how to deal with the Building Inspector Department and saved us money on filing for permits. I would highly recommend her...
