Spur Construction

Description of Work: We were approached by Cody Parks In August of 2009 to finish our building. We had it 3/4 done. He gave an estimate plus materials. It was getting late in season so we felt with the way things were going we would hire someone to finish our project. We were told he just started with a new building supply center and did not have a credit with them yet and I needed to give my credit card number to hold there for an open by of. I felt since it was with the Building supplier and if I kept track of receipts it would be ok. Will we were inform of needing this and that and we would get receipts up front. He started with till mid-center of project, and they were getting stagnate for some reason of,,I lost I would get etc.. Then we were noticing he had helpers doing most of work,,,and always not showing up, or late standing around. We told him all the time,, Excuses. I then found beer bottles and was also informed of drugs being used on site by someone that caught them. I confronted him about, and of course knew nothing of but promised he would take care of not.... He then approached us with a new material idea he was going to use for bat and board on outside, I asked repeatedly of , "is this the right stuff" and was told was as good and cheaper. Told him that I wanted it to last a lifetime. Said it would and that the building supplier said so. We supplied even our power tools, nails, rental equipment,ladders,feed them, and I can go on. We then picked out colors and bought the best primer and paint. He painted with primer and right behind with paint. Again, asked doesn't primer have to cure and the chalking even before that? Oh I checked with paint company and we can do this...We caught him one time painting at 10:00 at night after we were trying to get a hold of on why not on job for the last 2 weeks,,,, He was painting with the headlights of his truck to see!!! And it was too cold for. The metal roof,,,asked if right,,oh yeah did it by directions....not..
