I live in a neighborhood now know for lack of water. We tried a reservoir
to begin with, hoping that alone would give us enough water. Dan
explained that we should also deepen our well because of where we are
located. He even brought water to fill the reservoir because the well
was taking to long to fill the large tank. Dan also took the liberty to
contact a well driller (King Water Wells) and informed him of our
situation, so when the driller called he already knew everything with
out me having to go over our problems. Between both companies and
employees we had plenty of water in a very short amount of time. Saved
us time, money and worry. Wonderful company to do business with.

Our well pump gave out after approx. 25 years. We called a well drilling company that did not repair/install well pumps and referred us to Preferred. We called Bruce Greene, owner, on a Saturday morning and left a message. He returned our call promptly. He asked for information which we were able to provide in order to give us an estimate and the equipment he would need for the job: our well was about 100 feet deep, and the building which housed the pump was newly built in 2007 -- the old one was over 40 yrs old, had deteriorated and had to be torn down. The installation of a new pump required pulling the well pipe up and cutting it in sections to remove it, as it could not be pulled straight up without cutting a hole in the roof. (The old pipe was galvanized metal -- the new one would be the more flexible pvc.) He advised that working this way is significantly slower, more involved and would add to the cost. We figured it would, but did not want to cut a hole in or remove a relatively new roof, as the section housing the pump was insulted and the building also doubled as a garden shed. Since it was not an emergency situation and we don't have any children at home, it was mutually agreed that work could wait 'til Monday. He and his helper arrived promptly at the agreed hour (8 am) and began work; everything was completed by 11:30, hours ahead of schedule. The pump replaced with the same mfg and hp as the original. They removed all old material, and left after ascertaining that everything was in proper working order. We were promptly billed close to, a little under, the estimate and paid immediately :) We are very pleased with the entire job, the communication, and price and would recommend this company without hesitation, at least for the type of task they did for us. They do other water related work but unfortunately do not have a website. I am also sending a note of thanks to the referring company.
