A1 Roofing

This was a horrible experience for me. Having a leaking roof during the start of winter is very stressful and they made it so much worse. I was given such a run around on start dates that I would not have had a roof until March. I gave them a deposit in September. I say I would not have had a roof until March but I got a good, solid, snug metal roof for a decent price from MetalMan Roofing in December.

We researched several roofing companies before we decided to hire A-1 Roofing. My background as a Licensed Home Inspector gave me a more unique perspective of knowing what to ask and expect during our roof replacement. In my line of work I see a lot of shoddy roof installations, and was not about to shell out hard earned money on a junk roof. We had a really hard time getting roofing companies to come out to Ocean Shores and provide a bid. And we had a few that showed up, took measurements, and never heard from them again. We met Travis at a trade show in the convention center and he followed through with his promise for a bid. After comparing with the other couple bids we received, I felt that Travis and A-1 would be our best chance to get the roof we really wanted. The pricing was fair, and now that it is complete I can tell you they exceeded our expectations. They were one of the only companies that included ice and water shield in the valleys and around the perimeters for better protection against water intrusions. They actually hand nail which ensures they are not going to blow through the shingle. Metal edges around the perimeters... I can go on and on. Bottom line is they did a great job! Thanks to everyone at A-1 Roofing for a great job!

Travis Miller, manager of this branch, was very professional and delivered exactly what he said he would. The price, materials, and time frame were explained clearly. We accepted the bid knowing that the work would probably have to be done during the rainy part of the year in November. However, Travis was able to start and finish the work within a week that we had dry weather in November. When he called on a rainy day and said we would have dry weather the next day and that he was going to start the next day, I was dubious but he pegged the dry time exactly right. None of our tenants were disturbed. There was no leaking during the reroofing as it was dry outside. All was cleaned up when Travis' crew was done and there was no damage to our landscaping. His price was very competitive. He was responsive anytime we called or had a question and would arrange to meet with us when we needed. We are out of town owners. His staff was friendly, qualified, and helpful.  Very professionally done and it looks great!

They didn't get here as soon as they said but once they started, the job was finished very quickly. The crew was professional and cleaned up as they went. Before they left, they even went around the house with a big magnet to get any missed staples.

The were very friendly and prompt. And cleaned everything up. We were very very happy with the job they did. We would hire them back no questions asked. And we were very pleased with the price too.

They are on time. The price is reasonable.
