Description of Work: I called S T Electric to fix a broken light switch in my family room. That was my first mistake. Sherman Talylor and his assistant/grandson installed two new light switches, a new front outdoor light and replaced a ceiling fan switch in the kitchen (ceiling fan still does not work properly – only 2 of the 3 speeds operate correctly). Lights and switches work correctly. At this point, Sherman went downstairs unaccompanied (the only time when I wasn’t present) to throw the breaker on but also removed the service panel cover to do a service “check”. Came upstairs to inform me that water was dripping into the breaker box from the service cable and that breakers, box and service cable needed to be changed immediately (it was raining on this day) because it was a fire hazard. Sherman determined that the weather head at the top of the cable malfunctioned due to wind damage. He initially quoted me $3100 for the job then recanted saying the qoute was $3700. The work was performed and several appliances were not functioning properly when the power was turned back on. In each instance, Sherman Taylor blamed the malfunction on my appliance (dishwasher, doorbell etc ..) and not his electrical work. I had to argue with him to double check his work and in each instance the problem resided on his end. INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING..
