Company does not honor reservations. If you place a reservation for an economy car and you set a scheduled pick up date and time, the company can give your reservation away without confirmation from you. They will upgrade you if a car is available at no charge. However, I was using the car for extensive state travel and needed an economical vehicle for better gas mileage. I arrived to pick up my car at the scheduled time but they gave away my economy vehicle and only had large SUVs available. I was stuck as I needed to leave immediately and needed a car. This should have been an expense of approx. $40 with gas but ended up costing me almost twice that. The company was unapologetic and stated that they have the right to give away a vehicle even if someone has a reservation. I wonder what would have happened if they didn't have a vehicle available when I arrived. I'm sure I would have been stranded. Not a reliable company. It should be noted, this does not occur with Enterprise rental and I use them exclusively now.
