NORTHEAST FOREIGN CARS

I've been using NEFC for years. They seem to be popular, so sometimes it's hard to schedule an appointment on short notice. They definitely know their stuff and always do a good job.

Very well. They are friendly and usually can fit in work when requested. They don't look for the most expensive solution.

I have used Northeast Foreign Cars several times in the last year after moving to the area.  I have found them courteous, timely (both in setting up an appointment as well as time the car is left until finished), fairly priced, and most importantly they have done great work.  I continue to use them with great results and would absolutely recommend them to others.  My car now has 190K miles and is continuing to go strong.

The best part about my interaction with them was they estimated a price upfront and stuck to it. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I purchased a 72 Triumph TR6 and wanted to be sure it was good for the highway. The boys at Northeast are well acquainted with foreign autos.  I have been going there for several years and find them to be very knowledgeable and helpful.  Their labor rates, though high, are in line with other repair stations.

They were very thorough in their assessment of my vehicle. They told me what I should get fixed first and laid out detailed pricing for everything. They seem very honest, but I ended up getting some of the work done elsewhere because they were a bit more expensive than other repair shops in the upper valley. Overall it was a good experience and I will use them for certain things in the future.

I went in because my check engine light was on and I needed new windshield wipers. My car was slipping much more than last winter, so I also wondered if I needed new tires. Northeast Foreign Car arranged an early-morning appointment within a few days of my phone call. They examined the car and determined the problem behind the check engine light. The mechanics explained that the tires were in bad shape, but did not pressure me to buy new ones. They acknowledged that I could probably use them a little longer, but that driving on the snow and slush would continue to be risky given their poor condition. I opted for the new tires and I'm very happy with the results. The car had been sitting out bad weather in my driveway and now I can drive it regularly. They explained my options and pricing clearly without pressuring me, and were mindful of my schedule. They completed all the work in about 2.5 hours so that I could get to work on time. I wished the cost had been a little lower (of course!), but over all their prices seemed fair to me given what I have paid in other parts of the country (Boston, MA and Rochester, NY) for similar repairs.

These folks are very punctual. Appoints are made and kept. Dave is very knowledgable and straight forward when explaining problems. I have been going here for nearly 20 years and am completly satisfied.

Hey! It's never fun to spend money on your car! But I am so glad to have a crew like the guys at Northeast caring for my cars. Over a dozen years, I've developed a great respect for their expertise and confidence in the work they have done. I'm one of those people who probably doesn't pay enough attention to 'routine' maintenance, so sometimes we've had 'emergency' situations where we've had a car towed to Northeast unexpectedly. Whether planned or unplanned, John has always been extremely accommodating, even when I know that the shop is very busy, and everybody considers their own car to the the #1 priority! After so many years, we're all on a first-name basis when I call or visit. Doug and brother Dave have run this business successfully for many years (I don't even know how many) and it's very easy to see why they're always busy there. The service and customer care are really outstanding.
