Jeff gave me a price for replacement of double rib roof material with standing seam. Also included in the job was gutter replacement and gutter covers. Roof was replaced and job went very well, in and out in a day. A crew came a few weeks later and replaced the gutters and added the covers. As it happened the covers were unable to divert heavier rainwater into the gutters, and Jeff sent a crew to swap the covers out with a slightly different design, although he only had a few panels and could not replace all of them. It took a while but eventually a crew did come and replace the panels and these covers work much better than the first set. I would recommend HP Roofing to anyone who were to ask. Very professional job.

The job went extremely well. The communications from the owner, project manager, and crew foreman were exceptional. The costs were competitive, and the work was executed professionally and quickly. In the midst of the job a major wind/rain storm blew in and the crew prepared by adequately protecting the exposed roof. One minor leak resulted and HP Roofing went above and beyond to address it. Cleanup was daily and all demo was removed promptly at the end of the job. Thoroughly enjoyed having this work crew on site and doing a top-notch roof replacement. Highly recommend!

Our roof was replaced in the fall (2018). The owner of the company and the work supervisor were very responsive and agreed upon timelines were met. The owner gave good advice on the options and did not just push the most expensive material. Additional work that was required was communicated real time and there were no surprises. The crew cleaned up the worksite and you could not even tell they were there. Roof looks great and we had no issues with snow etc this winter. Would hire them again.

I wasn't happy with their work. It wasn't a major thing. I might have them back. They didn't listen to the customer. It wasn't a whole lot of roofing work. It was just sealing around the chimney and sealing around a couple of other things.

The work was completed as promised and you would never know that a repair had been needed . The new shingles match the old ones. The price was very reasonable. There was a misunderstanding at first which was cleared up. I take back my earlier negative review that indicated they did not show up. We were both waiting for the other side to call and confirm. I would suggest being very clear about whether you are hiring them or not. Once that was clear, they were very responsive and prompt and did a great job.

a crew of hard-working, professional, and courteous roofers rebuilt a 15-year-old roof that let rain water in and let heat out. I called HP Roofing and soon after had a visit from the owner, who diagnosed problems and scheduled fixes with flexible options for start-time and financing. Before work began, HP's project manager stopped to assess the job venue and, he returned when the job was done to check in. I recommend this company very highly!

He could have sold us a new roof right then, but he gave us, instead, some good advice about the roof and the insurance company.

Jeff Acker was responsive and professional when dealing with him to initially discuss the job and get it done. They were punctual and generally clean in performing the work. However, we now wish to speak with them about a couple issues and they were initially responsive, but due to the rough winter we have had to wait for a time for them to come and discuss and look at these issues. Once the weather improved....they have been completely Unresponsive to MULTIPLE emails and phone calls. They are negligent, they do not honor the workmanship warranty they so graciously promote on selling you their services.

They did not honor a warranty. They did not do a satisfactory job. I paid extra money to have a ridge vent cut properly and it was not done correctly. What they did was inadequate. When I called the owner he wouldn't take my phone calls and would not fix the job done correctly. They did everything incorrectly as well. They have even cause damaged to my house because of the way they installed the drip edge. I have pictures and documentation of the inadequate work that was done. The quality of the work were very good but certain parts of their work was done incorrectly and they will not even take my phone calls about this. The price was a decent price.

"Member called with a concern about leaking from ice dams during the winter of 2010-11, one of the worst winters in history for ice dams in New England. Despite the fact that our warranty specifically excludes ice dams, we shoveled his roof and removed his ice dams for FREE because he was a previous customer. I'm not aware of any issues or concerns with the ridge vent not being correctly installed."

Replaced house roof and garage roof in one day and half of the next day. It was fabulous that they were able to get the job done so efficiently and yet quickly. They did a good job. However, they were in a hurry to leave and there were a lot of nails still on the ground everywhere--apparently the magnetized machine to pick them up was full and could not pick up more. Once they emptied it, upon my insistence there were too many nails laying about, they did a better job. Also, I was told the little bits of cellophane-like material that was everywhere was biodegradable--if it is then it takes more than a year to degrade--they should pick it up. Lastly, we bought an extended 25 year warranty on the work and paid hundreds more for it. However, three months later we still had not received the paper work from the shingle manufacturing company that we were supposed to get. When we called the manufacturer they knew nothing about it. We contacted HP several times to no avail. Finally, my husband called and spoke to the owner and we got our warranty from the shingle manufacturer and the owner refunded the cost of the warranty back to us. That was a very good business decision that we appreciated. All in all give them a chance, just keep your eyes open. I would use them again--the roof is beautiful.

They did the work fine but it took a while to get things arranged. We got the roof with the strongest manufacturer's guarantee and then selected the roofer that had the cheapest price. This makes the selection process quite easy.

The overall experience was excellent. They came right over like the next day when we called them to assess what we needed. They came about two days later and did the job and it is great. We found their name through a flier that comes with the newspaper here asking whether we needed home repairs or anything and I called them and they referred us to whoever does the roofing. I went through their agency and they did a fine job. I liked that they were prompt. They sent someone out here like two days later and then he called and was coming back within a couple of days. I felt that was very efficient. The water was leaking onto the ceiling in the kitchen and I don't know how much people charge for that sort of work since we never had that done before. The quality of the work seems to be great and it looks good. We have had a lot of rain and snow and there has been no leaking so I would say that it is positive. I thought that their responsiveness was very good. They had indicated a certain time and that was when they came. I went to their office to pay and they were very nice. They have a lot of people that they can get to do different kinds of repairs and that is going to be my first call from now on.

The roof leaked after install. They came back and said they needed to perform additional work and I paid an additional 1200. Roof still leaked. I called manufacturer who provided warranty for roof. Manufacturer found a stretched seam from improper install and fixed roof. This was after multiple attempts to get hp roofing to fix their work. Owner said if I paid the 1200 "99% sure it would solve problem". When the roof still leaked they relied on manufacturer to fix.

"We installed a DuroLast PVC membrane roof for the customer on one small section of the Nursing Home that he manages. The roof was inspected by a DuroLast representative upon completion, and a warranty was issued by DuroLast to the owner. The warranty covers any and all repairs for a full 15 years from the date of installation. He unfortunately had an intermittent leak, which turned out to be very difficult to locate and repair. But, as you can see from his post, we did persevere, including going to the extent of asking the manufacturer's field technician come to the site multiple times to try and help us diagnose the issue. During the course of investigating the leak we discovered some vinyl siding that had been improperly installed by another contractor, and we repaired that. The vinyl siding work was never part of our original scope of work; we did charge an additional $1200 for that extra work. As it turns out, this improper vinyl siding may not have been the source of the water, but it had to be repaired anyway as it was barely hanging on the side of the building. I believe that the customer's problem is now solved, at no additional cost to him, and his warranty remains in full force if he does have any future problems."

They showed up two months late, trashed our landscaping lighting, left buckets and buckets of debris and never finished the job. We spent close to 10K and our roof still leaks. Here we are March 2010 and we still have no resolution. I would never use this company again.
