she did an excellent job

The cleaning itself was great. The communication leading up to it and after was not good. We originally contacted her to do an estimate of our place and we never received it. We were in a bind, and the general quality of services in VT is low, so we just told her to clean the house post ice storm. We asked for the bill, but never received one, neither verbally or written. We needed someone to clean again, and she went and again we got no bill. We were very happy with the work, and figured the pricing would be reasonable, so we used her a third time. We finally got a bill for $650 where she wanted approx $400 for the first cleaning and $120 and $130 for the subsequent cleanings. To her credit, when confronted about it she said that she did a lot of work on the place, but I returned that that price was ridiculous. We agreed to a total of $180 for the first cleaning and $120/$130 for the rest. In all, she does a great job with cleaning the place even though it is a bit pricey IMHO. She leaves something to be desired the way that she runs her business. However, all this said, it is a keeper by Vermont standards.
