Alec Genung Construction Inc. was founded in 1999 with the goal of providing high quality construction services to Stowe and the surrounding areas. These services include general contracting, project management, and all phases of residential and light commercial construction. We work with many local architects and designers, as well as those retained by clients from out of state. In the last eleven years our projects have ranged from 7,000 square foot custom homes to timber-framed ski houses to an 800 square foot treehouse to many successful renovations and additions. We strive to use products and materials that are responsibly and sustainably manufactured and harvested with a focus on local origin whenever possible. In our demanding Vermont climate we realize that attention to detail is the key to an energy efficient home, from the most advanced heating and ventilating systems to super insulated building envelopes. With a creative crew of local craftsmen and skilled carpenters we’ve successfully built and renovated many homes in Stowe and and the surrounding area.
