My overall feeling about the project was that I was purposely deceived by Ms. Cooke. There were serious errors made in regards to material used i.e.) ceiling beams were 2x6 in some places so traditional insulating was almost impossible and had to be foamed-in. She lied about the cost of heating and plumbing, two huge factors, and I have since found out just how expensive it is. I opted to install a Rinnai, cutting the cost of heating the space by thousands. The new G.C. gave me a quick and accurate overview as did the plumber, but my own ignorance and unjustified trust cost my mother far more than she could afford. It is disheartening to think that I was deliberately misled so that she could get work, albeit temporarily.
