Seemed to go well at first, but then the installer seemed to hurry and got careless. He apparently broke one top mounting screw or possibly stripped the threads in the microwave by over-aggressively tightening the screw with a drill gun and not using a spacer block as indicated in the installation instructions. He couln't remove the useless screw so he left it inside its hole in the microwave cabinet and replaced the top mount with what he called a side mount, ie a screw through the side of the adjacent cabinet into the side of the microwave. I checked the installation guide and could find no provision for such a side mount, so this seems to have been an ad lib.  He just drilled a hole in the side of the microwave and threaded a wood screw through it to hold up that side of the microwave. The presence of the broken screw deeper in the microwave than intended apparently caused the microwave to arc. In addition, he used the wrong screw for the other top mount. He used a carriage bolt rather than the top mounting screws. This may be because he also stripped out this screw so he needed to use a bigger one. He did not use the installation template to allign the screw holes and drilled one hole in the wrong place.  All holes were 1 inch rather that half-inch as specified in the installation guide. The result was numerous over sized holes in the cabinet and an unusable microwave, which fortunately Sears will make good on and replace. The biggest problem is that he did not own up to his mistakes, but tried to hide them.

Oakes Plumbing & Heating is the providers for Lowes who installed our water heater and we used them a second time. My husband had opened up all of the tile so they had access to the sewer line and for some strange reason they went and ripped up the tile another 8 feet perpendicular to that. We never got an explanation as to why. A couple of the pipes still leaked after they replaced the old copper pipes that were originally leaking. My husband had to go back in and try and reseal the PVC pipe. Would I use them again? No.

Awful experience, have left work early to meet him at scheduled dates for fixing his original work and he has been a no show no call 3 times. Unprofessional outfit with low quality work.

I was able to reach them by cell phone to arrange an appointment. They showed up on the date, looked at what needed to be done, left for just a little while to get hardware needed - returned and finished the job and cleaned up the area where they worked. Did a very nice job. I'm keeping their name and number handy if i need any other plumbing done.
