Do not hire this company! Roofer was recommended and estimate came quickly - that is the only positive thing about my experience. Twin State delayed install which delayed my solar being installed which cause me to lose valuable energy credits. When install did start I was advised by owner that materials had gone up 30% in cost - this was AFTER work had begun. Twin State used nails rather than screw to install which is NOT in accordance with manufacturer directions or industry standard (nails will back out.) Twin State roofed over asphalt shingles which is incorrect and will cause the roof to rust from the underside out. Those are the major issues that voided manufacturer warranty. Other issues include lack of "craftsmanship", damaging my brand new siding, damaging the interior of my porch roof (see Yelp review from another who had this same issue) and the owner refuses to accept responsibility. Entire roof needs to be replaced. Owner was threatening in his manner when discussing these issues with disabled female veteran homeowner and matter is now being litigated (costing homeowner even more.)

Excellent work and very fair price. It did take them a while to get there (over 2 mos late), but I was warned about this and planned accordingly. Hard working crew, would definitely use them again.

This company was recommended by several friends, so we hired them. They were supposed to do the work in the fall and didn't end up getting here until January. Their customer service is not good at all. The owner doesn't call you back. The owner and crew were all told several times not to use nails longer than 1" on the porch roof, so as not to poke through. They neglected to follow these instructions and used 1 1/2" nails, ruining our porch roof. They left a bunch of nails in the road, metal scraps in the yard, a drink container on my septic tank. They also dumped my recycling out on my porch and took my bucket. They jacked the price up by rounding all of their measurements up, so the bill was $1200 more than it should have been. When we confronted the owner with our concerns he yelled at my husband and threatened to take us to court. We did end up settling on a price for the work, but I would never recommend this company. The one positive comment I have is that the crew did a good job on the roof. I am happy with the way it looks.

Called four times. Told us he would be out to give us a quote. Took time off of work to meet him and he no showed. Called back one more time and got no response.

Since I could never get in contact with them by phone (I think I even sent them two emails), and never got the second quote I chose another roofer.

It was okay. The craftsmanship was sloppy.

It went pretty good. It's really a challenge to get them to do the work but once they showed up, they did a pretty good job and things seem to be in pretty good shape at this point.

Overall it went well. I would insist on better clean up in the future and would have liked to have been home when the work was done.

Their materials were thicker than other companies and their metal was the kind we really wanted to have, they put it on even though others told us we couldn't use it because it was too stiff. There was a man who owns it, he couldn't have been more helpful. We were trying to figure out why another company wanted to charge so much more. I checked with a couple of people who had used them before and they thought he was wonderful, they had no problems with him at all. One of them did mention he didn't clean up properly in their opinion so we had it included in the contract that the final check wouldn't be cut until everything was removed. He did that and he was fine. His workers were kind of rough and they smoked. They threw butts all over but picked everything up. They did a great job and we didn't really interact that much.
