Terrible communication from the start and total lack of transparency in project costs. Final invoices totaled 47% more than what we were quoted. He bills on a time and materials basis, but offers no estimate updates once the project is underway. Doesn't return texts, shows up when he wants, and inflates his hours onsite. Total disregard for client budget and zero effort to communicate actual costs in real time.

The cause of the short was never located by Jody.  Two days later, my contractor suspected it might be storm damage from the prior week's rain/wind.  He called the power company, they ran a check and the problem was found.  It took the power company (GMP) 20 minutes to locate and repair the transformer. Almost 2 months later, I received a bill from Otter Creek for 4 hours of work @ $0 an hour...$200.  I will not pay the bill until Jody contacts me and explains his side of the story. I am also doubtful he spent 4 hours searching for the cause of the short.

They do fantastic work. They are incredibly responsive and great to deal with. I would absolutely use them in the future.
