Hickok and Boardman Insurance called my office today to announce that they will not be renewing my homeowner's insurance coverage. There have been no claims filed in the eight years I have been with them. The fact that I received the phone call and the letter the same day added insult to injury! I will be looking for a new insurance agency in Burlington, Vermont. The property in question is maintained with safety and reducing risks at all times.
A few questions for Hickok and Boardman:
- How many of your clients pay for TVing sewer lines before buying a house to make sure there will be no sewer backups due to tree roots or cracked pipes?
- How many Hickok and Boardman clients bring a building inspector into a house before buying the residence and again two years after buying the house to make sure every operating system is operating in a safe and efficient manner?
- How many clients of Hickok and Boardman have an annual inspection and cleaning of the dryer vent lines to reduce the risk of fire? .
