"Brian, I am sorry you feel that way. But when we started the project you were asking for the cheapest way to do the addition and that means basics will be installed. When you add several different components to the job, the price has to increase. Its not something that I will pay for out of my pocket. I appreciate the work and I wish the best for you and your family moving forward. Thanks again for the opportunity."
"This is what no good deed goes unpunished means. We completed this project 12 months ago and only till now after I declined to give her my social security number she has posted this bad rating. Donna contacted me 14 months ago complaining about the cost of other contractors pricing and asked if I could remove an old giant shed and build her a laundry room and a bath room with closet and hallway off the back of her house on a very slim budget. The normal cost was about 10k dollars higher then she could afford. So I said I would help her out if she did the painting and purchased the flooring. woops. big mistake. I'm regretting it now more then ever. I have no idea what trim she is talking about but wasn't an issue when I was there. Doors were hung properly. she definitely needs storm doors. I even offered to pay for them and she could pay me back. She declined showing that she didnt want to solve the problem. We did remove toilet from old bathroom and stuffed a rag in drain pipe and sealed it off so gases wouldn't go into the house. we were not there to remodel that bathroom just remove the toilet and sink. Upon working on the electrical we discovered that the panel was so outdated and overfilled with breakers that it was only a matter of time before an electrical fire was created. we replaced the panel completely for 300 less than normal. not one thank you just why does it cost so much. we also added gutters, a back porch with steps and did painting (her responsibility)on a Sunday at no extra cost because I always like to do a extra for my customers. upon receiving final payment she called me the next day swearing emotionally and personally attacking me and none of it had to do with my workmanship. I have never experienced that with any customer ever before, I love my customers and love working with Home Advisor!"
