We started experiencing problems with the lights in the house constantly dimming and then returning to normal. I called Don on Sunday, July 27th and left a message on his answering machine. Surprisingly, he called me back that same day even though it was a Sunday. He showed up the following morning and discovered that the buss bar (the location in the circuit breaker box where all the neutral wires are connected) was defective. Don advised that my circuit breaker box was made by a company (Challenger) that was no longer in business and he probably wouldn't be able to get replacement parts. He said that he may have to replace the entire box ($$$) unless he could find a suitable replacement part. He called me back two days later to advise that he had located a different style buss bar that he thought could be retrofitted to my breaker box. He was successful and billed me a total of $196.00 for 3 1/2 hours labor and $21.00 in parts.
